Saipem today announced that its Joint Venture with Chiyoda and CB&I, CCS JV, has been selected as contractor for the initial development of the onshore LNG park in Mozambique by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation on behalf of the co-venturers in Mozambique’s Offshore Area 1.

Kongsberg Maritime’s engineering services and technology chosen for new West African FPSO
Kongsberg Maritime has been selected to supply a complete Electrical, Instrument and Telecom solution, including E-house, for the new Yinson Production (West Africa) Pte Ltd FPSO, ‘Yinson Genesis’. The contract is valued at approximately 200 MNOK and the FPSO is expected to be operational by 2017

Eni starts production of Cinguvu offshore field at West Hub Development in Angola
Eni started production two weeks ahead of schedule at the Cinguvu oil field, from the West Hub Development Project in Block 15/06 in the Angolan Deep Offshore, approximately 350 kilometres northwest of Luanda and 130 kilometres west of Soyo. The start-up follows the achievement of West Hub’s first oil through Sangos field start-up, during last November 2014.

Eni: record level of production achieved in the Western Desert of Egypt
Eni reached a record level of production of 70 thousand barrels of oil per day in the Western Desert of Egypt, doubling its level of production in the area in just three years. Such result was achieved mainly thanks to the Melehia development lease, located 290 kilometers west of Alexandria.

Eni signs Production Sharing Contracts for the exploration of two blocks offshore Myanmar
Eni, following its participation in the competitive International Bid Round launched by the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, signed two Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) for offshore blocks MD-02 and MD-04. The contracts were signed in Nay Pyi Taw, in the presence of the country’s Energy Minister. The Joint Venture is between Eni, the Operator with an 80% participating interest through Eni Myanmar B.V, and Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation Limited (20%).

Eni started the production at the Hadrian South gas field in the Gulf of Mexico deepwater, located in the United States approximately 240 miles south of the Louisiana’s coast.

Oceaneering Announces Contract for Offshore Cape Three Points Development
Oceaneering International, Inc. (NYSE:OII) announced that, as part of a consortium with GE Oil & Gas, it has secured a contract with ENI Ghana Exploration and Production, Ltd. and its partners, Vitol and GNPC, to supply equipment for the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) Block Project development located off the coast of West Africa.

Eni: new successes in the exploration activities in Indonesia and Libya
Eni has completed post drilling studies on the Merakes-1 gas finding, located in the Indonesia deep offshore East Sepinggan Block, which indicates significant upside gas potential. Eni is the operator of the East Sepinggan Block with an 85% interest.

Eni signs a framework agreement for the development of Egypt's oil and gas resources
The Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Sherif Ismail, signed today with Eni’s CEO, Claudio Descalzi, a Head of Agreement aimed at the development of the oil and gas resources of the Country while preserving the return of Eni’s investments.
