Excelerate Energy Appointed Midstream Partner for FLNG Project Offshore Equatorial Guinea
Excelerate Energy L.P. (“Excelerate”) today announced it has executed an agreement with the Government of Equatorial Guinea and Ophir Energy plc (“Ophir”) for the provision of a Floating Liquefaction Storage and Offloading vessel, or FLSO. The project, named Fortuna FLNG, will be located at Block R, Equatorial Guinea which is owned 80% by Ophir and 20% by the national oil company of Equatorial Guinea, GEPetrol. Excelerate will act as the lead in a consortium of technology providers that is expected to include Samsung Heavy Industries and Black & Veatch. Upon completion of Definitive Agreements and FID, Excelerate will build, own and operate the newbuild FLSO vessel and provide liquefaction services to Ophir. First gas is expected in 2019.

Equatorial Guinea - Fortuna West-1 Success
Ophir Energy plc (“Ophir” or “the Company”) announces the successful completion of its 2012 three-well drilling program in Block R, Equatorial Guinea. All three wells exceeded pre-drill recoverable resource estimates. The Fortuna West-1 (R6) exploration well in Block R, Equatorial Guinea has added an additional 1.0 TCF (169 MMBOE) of recoverable resources. The well encountered gas in the primary target of the western lobe of the Fortuna Complex, in the secondary deeper Viscata prospect and there is further potential upside in the Felix prospect.

Fortuna East-1: Successful Appraisal of Fortuna Complex and Viscata Discovery
Ophir Energy plc (“Ophir” or “the Company”) announces that the Fortuna East-1 (R5) step out exploration well in Block R, Equatorial Guinea, has successfully encountered gas in the eastern lobe of the Fortuna Complex. In addition, the well discovered gas in the deeper Viscata exploration target.

ATWOOD OCEANICS Announces Contract for the Atwood Hunter
ATWOOD OCEANICS, INC., announced today that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a drilling services contract by a subsidiary of Noble Energy Inc. for the Atwood Hunter for three firm wells with a minimum total duration of 150 days plus one option well. The first well will be in a tax-free location in Cameroon at a dayrate of approximately $364,000, while the second and third wells will be in Equatorial Guinea at a dayrate of approximately $388,000.

SDRL - Seadrill secures contract for semi-tender newbuild
Seadrill has been issued a letter of award by Hess Equatorial Guinea, Inc. to enter into an eight well drilling contract offshore Equatorial Guinea for the semi-tender rig West Esperanza. The anticipated contract duration is a minimum of 18 months, with corresponding potential revenues of approximately $127 million plus mobilization fee. West Esperanza, which Seadrill ordered on speculation in June 2011, is currently under construction at Keppel FELS yard in Singapore. Construction is scheduled for completion in early second quarter of 2013. Following mobilization from Singapore to Equatorial Guinea, the rig is scheduled to commence operation at the end of the second quarter of 2013.

FARM DOWN OF INTEREST IN BLOCK H, OFFSHORE EQUATORIAL GUINEA
Roc Oil (Equatorial Guinea) Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of ROC, has agreed to farm down its interest in Block H, offshore Equatorial Guinea, to White Rose Energy Ventures (Equatorial Guinea) Limited ("White Rose"), a portfolio company of First Reserve Corporation, from 37.5% to 20.0% for a free carry through the drilling of an exploration well.

Gazprom Neft completes seismic survey work on the Equatorial Guinea shelf
Gazprom Neft has completed 3-D seismic survey work on the Equatorial Guinea shelf (block T) in the Niger Delta river basin. The seismic studies covered around 300 square kilometres of the block's area, which meets the company's commitments regarding the Production Sharing Agreement (PSA) under whose conditions the project is being carried out.

KBR Awarded Conceptual Study and Project Management Services for the New Mbini Refinery in Equatorial Guinea
KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced that it has been awarded a contract by The Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea to provide a Conceptual Study and associated Project Management Services for the development of a low complexity, modular 20,000 barrel per day (BPD) refinery at Mbini in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, West Africa.

McDermott Awarded Fabrication of "Alen" Project for Gas-Condensate Field Development Offshore West Africa
