Ping Petroleum and Hibiscus Petroleum To Acquire Operated Interest of Anasuria Cluster
Ping Petroleum Limited (“Ping”) and Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad (“Hibiscus”) are pleased to announce that they have jointly entered into sale and purchase agreements to each acquire 50% of the entire interests of Shell UK Ltd, Shell EP Offshore Ventures Limited (“Shell”) and Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited (“Esso”) in the Anasuria Cluster of oil and gas fields effective from 1st January 2015. The acquisition of the Anasuria Cluster is subject to regulatory approvals, and third party consents, including the UK Government’s approval and Hibiscus shareholder approval.

Statoil awarding contract for utility and living quarters on Johan Sverdrup
Statoil is, on behalf of the Johan Sverdrup partnership, signing a contract with a joint venture consisting of Kvaerner and KBR for construction of the topside for the utility and living quarters platform. The contract has a value of NOK 6.7 billion.

ABB wins $155 million order to power large North Sea oilfield
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won an order worth $155 million from Norway’s Statoil to supply systems and equipment to two HVDC converter stations linking the recently discovered Johan Sverdrup offshore field with the onshore grid. The contract has been booked in the first quarter of 2015.

Subsea 7 S.A. awarded contract offshore Norway
Subsea 7 S.A. (Oslo Børs: SUBC) announced today the award of a contract with a value of approximately USD 300 million for the Maria field development by Wintershall Norge AS. The field is located in the Norwegian Sea at a water depth of approximately 300 metres.
