Technip awarded contract for UK North Sea Development
Endeavour Energy UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Endeavour International Corporation, awarded Technip an EPCI lump sum contract, worth around €70 million, for the East Rochelle development in the United Kingdom North Sea. The field is located approximately 185 kilometers north-east of Aberdeen, Scotland in 140 meters of water.

The Vega field in the North Sea was officially opened
The Vega field in the North Sea was officially opened during a ceremony in Bergen yesterday, 17 March. The subsea field adds important natural gas and condensate to Statoil´s production on the Norwegian continental shelf.

Nord Stream Completes Phase II Financing
Financing for the Nord Stream project is secured: Today, the company together with its shareholders in the consortium, OAO Gazprom, E.ON Ruhrgas AG, BASF SE/Wintershall Holding GmbH, N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, and GDF SUEZ S.A. announced the successful signing of Phase II financing of the pipeline project. The project financing for Phase II amounts to 2.5 billion euros.

Endeavour Announces Approval of the Rochelle Field Development Plan

Gazprom to build up UGS capacities beyond Russia

GDF SUEZ becomes a natural gas storage leader in Germany and number 1 in Europe
GDF SUEZ through its subsidiary Storengy has agreed today to buy five natural gas underground storage facilities in Germany and a 19.7% stake in another one. The transaction covers the storage facilities held by BEB Speicher GmbH and by ExxonMobil Gasspeicher Deutschland GmbH. Whilst BEB Speicher GmbH is an affiliate of BEB Erdgas und Erdöl GmbH (BEB) which in turn is a joint venture between Shell and ExxonMobil, ExxonMobil Gasspeicher Deutschland GmbH (EMGSG) is an ExxonMobil affiliate.
