Tassie Shoal LNG project environmental approval updated
MEO Australia Limited (ASX: MEO; OTC: MEOAY) is pleased to advise that the Federal Government has updated the Timor Sea LNG Project environmental approval. Concurrent with this revision the Department confirmed that the approval will remain valid until at least 28th March 2017.

Macquarie Energy and Freeport LNG Expansion, L.P. to Jointly Develop U.S. LNG Export Project
Macquarie Energy, the North American energy marketing and trading arm of Macquarie Group (Macquarie) (ASX: MQG), and Freeport LNG Expansion, L.P. (Freeport LNG) today announced an agreement to jointly develop and market liquefaction capacity at Freeport LNG’s existing LNG import terminal near Freeport, Texas. The proposed liquefaction facility will be capable of liquefying up to 1.4 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of natural gas and will create a world-class bi-directional import/export LNG terminal.
