ExxonMobil’s U.S. Marine Affiliate to Build Two New Crude Carriers in Philadelphia

B&W to Supply Modular Boilers for the Kearl Oil Sands Project

Apache to Acquire ExxonMobil's Beryl Field, Other UK North Sea Assets for $1.75 Billion

SMC buys EXXON Mobil’s downstream oil business in Malaysia
San Miguel Corporation announced today that following approval by the company’s Board of Directors, management has signed sale and purchase agreements to acquire three subsidiaries comprising Exxon Mobil’s downstream oil business in Malaysia. The companies are: Esso Malaysia Bhd (EMB), a publicly traded company of which Exxon Mobil owns a 65% stake; and wholly-owned ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EMMSB), and Exxon Mobil Borneo Sdn Bhd (EMBSB). The three subsidiaries form an integrated business engaged in the refining, distribution and marketing of petroleum products. Physical assets include the Port Dickson refinery with a rated capacity of 88,000 barrels per day; seven fuel distribution terminals; and a network of roughly 560 branded service stations, 420 of which are company-owned. The transaction is valued at US$610 million.

Imperial and ExxonMobil Pursuing Additional Routes for Kearl Modules, Reducing Size
Imperial Oil and ExxonMobil are pursuing routes for the safe shipment of smaller equipment modules for the Kearl project. The companies are reducing the size and weight of the shipments and will seek permits for an additional route that will use four-lane divided highways and not require road closures or highway upgrading.

Anadarko Announces Lucius Unitization
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced the finalization of a unitization agreement with Exxon Mobil Corporation and co-owners to develop the Lucius field. The unitization includes portions of Keathley Canyon blocks 874, 875, 918 and 919 in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico. Anadarko will operate the unit with a 35-percent working interest. Following the unitization agreement, the Lucius interest owners entered into an agreement with the Hadrian South co-venturers whereby natural gas produced from the Hadrian South field will be processed through the Lucius facility in return for a production-handling fee and reimbursement for any required facility upgrades.
