ExxonMobil Announces Slagen Refinery Project to Upgrade Fuel Oil
ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Norge AS announced today plans to install a new processing unit at the Slagen refinery to enable production of high quality vacuum gas oil, a higher-yield feedstock used to create finished products such as diesel. The new residual flash tower is an upgrading unit that will improve the facility’s overall crude distillation process by replacing production of heavy fuel oil with lighter, higher-value gas oil.

CB&I Announces Contract for LNG Export Facility
CB&I (NYSE:CBI) together with its partner, Chiyoda Corporation (Chiyoda), announced today it has been awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) services contract for a proposed LNG export project by Golden Pass Products, LLC (GPP). GPP is a joint venture between affiliates of Qatar Petroleum International and ExxonMobil.

Technip awarded renewal of subsea services framework agreement with Statoil, Exxon Mobil & Gassco
Technip was awarded a new framework agreement by Statoil, Exxon Mobil and Gassco for diving, subsea intervention and repair contingency services. Under the terms of this framework agreement, a replacement of an existing frame agreement held for eight years, Technip will provide these services for the next four years. This contract, effective from December 1st 2014, also includes an option for additional periods up to seven years.

CLOV Start Up In Angola: Total Increases Block 17 Production To 700,000 Barrels Per Day
Total, operator of Block 17 in Angola, today started up CLOV, a major deep offshore development located 140 kilometers offshore Luanda, in line with the initial project schedule. With a production capacity of 160,000 barrels per day, CLOV will develop proven and probable reserves of over 500 million barrels. After Girassol, Dalia and Pazflor, CLOV is the fourth Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit on Block 17.
