PNG LNG Onshore Pipeline Completed
The PNG LNG Project remains on schedule to produce its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo in mid-year of 2014 following the recent completion of its 292-kilometre onshore section of pipeline.

Statoil and co-venturer ExxonMobil today announce the results from their first drill stem test in the Tanzania Block 2 offshore discoveries.
The data acquired is important to reduce technical uncertainties in a possible future Tanzania offshore and LNG development.

Subsea 7 S.A. awarded $75 million contract offshore Canada
Subsea 7 S.A. (Oslo Børs: SUBC) today announced the award of a US$75 million three-year subsea construction services contract by ExxonMobil Canada Properties.

The contract supports the Hebron heavy oil field development, located in the Jeanne d'Arc Basin 350 kilometres southeast of St. John's, Canada.

The contract scope includes the project management, engineering and installation of two Offshore Loading Systems in a water depth of 92 metres. Engineering and project management will begin immediately from Subsea 7’s offices in St John’s.

Stephen Henley, Managing Director of Subsea 7 Canada, said: “This contract award further enhances our construction capability across offshore Canada, building on the successes of our subsea engineering and construction work for our clients in the region.”

ExxonMobil Receives Extensions to Madagascar Licenses
-Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE: XOM) announced today that its affiliates in Madagascar have received extensions to their production sharing contract licenses, which will enable the resumption of exploration activities on the Ampasindava, Majunga and Cap St. Andre licenses offshore Madagascar.
The decrees formalizing the extensions to all three licenses were signed on July 17 by Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina.

Foster Wheeler Selected for Initial Feed by Rosneft and ExxonMobil for Proposed LNG Project in Russian Far East
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq:FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been selected by Rosneft and ExxonMobil to undertake the initial phase of the front-end engineering design (FEED) for a proposed Russian Far East liquefied natural gas (LNG) project. Foster Wheeler is one of two companies to be awarded separate contracts for the initial FEED work prior to selection of a single contractor for the second FEED phase.
