Fluor Captures EPC Contract for Malampaya Deep Water Gas-to-Power Project in the Philippines
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced that Fluor Offshore Solutions, a unit of Fluor, has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) support contract for Phase 3 of the Malampaya Deep Water Gas-to-Power Project. The project is being undertaken on behalf of the Philippine Government by the Service Contract 38 consortium composed of Shell Philippines Exploration B.V. (Operator), Chevron Malampaya LLC and Philippine National Oil Company—Exploration Corporation. This landmark project is among the most significant in the Philippines. Approximately 40 percent of the power for the main island of Luzon is generated by power plants using Malampaya gas. This new contract follows Fluor’s successful completion of the front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract for Phase 3. Fluor booked the undisclosed contract value in the third quarter.

Fluor to Build Shell's Quest Carbon Capture Facility in Canada
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that Shell selected the firm as its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for Shell’s carbon capture facility for its flagship Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Quest project at the Athabasca Oil Sands project in Alberta, Canada. The Quest project is being built on behalf of the Athabasca Oil Sands Project joint venture owners (including Shell, Chevron and Marathon Oil) with support from the Canadian and Alberta governments. ICA Fluor to Construct Pemex Offshore Production Platform in Gulf of Mexico
ICA Fluor, the industrial construction joint venture of Empresas ICA, S.A. B de C.V. (BMV and NYSE: ICA) and Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR), announced the signing of a contract with Pemex Exploration and Production for the construction of an offshore production platform for the Ku-Maloob-Zaap field in the Gulf of Mexico with a total contract value of $95 million. Fluor’s share of the contract, $47.5 million, will be booked in the second quarter.

Fluor Wins FEED Contract for LNG Terminal in Malaysia
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today following a formal signing ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that it was awarded a contract by PETRONAS Gas Berhad, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED) services for a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal in Malaysia. The new terminal will supply gas to an adjacent 300-megawatt combined cycle power plant in the town of Lahad Datu, Sabah. Fluor booked the undisclosed contract value in the first quarter of 2012.
