Saipem: awarded new contracts for FPSOs in Brazil and Angola for a total of $600 million
Saipem has been awarded contracts for the extension of leasing and upgrading works of the Cidade de Vitoria FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel) in Brazil. The company has also been awarded a lease extension and operation contract for the Gimboa FPSO in Angola. These contracts are worth in total approximately $600 million.

MacGregor wins Pusnes offloading system order from Bumi Armada
MacGregor, part of Cargotec has won an order from Bumi Armada Berhad, a Malaysia-based international offshore oilfied services provider, to supply a Pusnes offloading system for a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) conversion project. The Pusnes offloading system will be delivered by March 2015. The order is booked into the second quarter 2014 order intake.

INPEX Launches Hull of Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) Facility for Ichthys LNG Project
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced today it launched the hull of the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facility for the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project from the dry dock at the Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) shipyard in Okpo, South Korea.

Angolan shipyard Paenal celebrates the arrival of N’Goma FPSO
Following a voyage of 7,331 miles (13,577km), N’Goma FPSO safely berthed at Paenal’s 490-metre quayside at Port Amboim on 17th June 2014. The arrival of the vessel in Angola from Singapore marks the young yard’s second mega FPSO in just eight months.

Petrofac and First Reserve sign energy infrastructure agreement for US$1.25 billion
Petrofac, the international service provider to the oil and gas industry, has entered into a Framework Agreement (the ‘Agreement’) with First Reserve, the global energy-focused infrastructure investment firm, to create PetroFirst Infrastructure Partners. The new venture intends to deploy capital both in purchasing a number of existing assets from Petrofac’s Integrated Energy Services (IES) division (commencing with the first transaction as described below), as well as in new energy infrastructure projects that utilise Petrofac’s development capability.

Yinson's Floating Production, Storage and Offloading ("FPSO") PTSC Lam Son Starts Production
On behalf of the Board of Directors of YINSON HOLDINGS BERHAD ("YINSON" or "the Company"), we would like to announce that Yinson's Floating Production, Storage and Offloading ("FPSO") PTSC Lam Son (jointly owned with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation) had on 6 June 2014 produced its first oil for Lam Son Joint Operating Company ("LSJOC") which marks the commencement of production in the said oil field located in Vietnam.

BW Offshore: Contract extension for BW Athena
BW Offshore has received a contract extension for the FPSO BW Athena with Ithaca Energy. The primary term of the contract expires in Q2 2015, and Itacha Energy has exercised the option for a secondary term of up to five years. Ithaca Energy has the right to terminate the contract on a rolling 12-month notice.

Jumbo installs North Sea FPSO mooring spread
This year saw Jumbo complete stage one in the first offshore installation contract undertaken as main contractor. Using the J-class vessel, Fairplayer, Jumbo successfully installed an FPSO mooring spread for client EnQuest in the North Sea Alma and Galia field. The second stage of the project will take place in 2014. This will see the EnQuest Producer, currently in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, hooked up to the mooring spread.
