SBM Offshore awarded Letters of Intent for two FPSO lease contracts by Petrobras
SBM Offshore is pleased to announce that it has received a Letter of Intent(LOI) for the twenty year charter and operation of two (2) FPSOs from BM-S-11 subsidiary Tupi BV on 22 March 2013.
The FPSOs will be deployed at the Lula field in the pre-salt province offshore Brazil. BM-S-11 block is under concession to a consortium comprised of PETROBRAS (65%), BG E&P Brasil Ltda. (25%), and Petrogal Brasil S.A.(10%).

Mitsui, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. and Marubeni Corporation to Participate in Ultra-Deepwater FPSO Chartering Project
MODEC, Inc. (“MODEC,” head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; president: Toshiro Miyazaki), Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (“Mitsui,” head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president: Masami Iijima), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (“MOL,” head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; president: Koichi Muto) and Marubeni Corporation (“Marubeni,” head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; president: Teruo Asada) have agreed that Mitsui, MOL and Marubeni will invest in a long-term charter business (“Project”) operated by MODEC for the purpose of providing a floating production, storage, and offloading system (“the FPSO,”) for use in the Iracema Norte area of a pre-salt oil field off the coast of Brazil. The above 4 companies (“Companies”) have entered into definitive agreements today.

FRAM FPSO update
SBM Offshore confirms it has been notified by Shell, that in light of unexpected well results, they have decided to reassess the development plan for the Fram oil and gas field in the UK North Sea and not to continue with several key contracts associated with this development including the FPSO.

Bumi Armada And Shapoorji Pallonji Company Limited Joint Venture Secures Second FPSO From ONGC
Malaysia-based international offshore oil and gas services provider, Bumi Armada Berhad announced today that its jointly controlled entity, SP Armada Oil Exploration Private Limited ("SP Armada") has received a Notification of Award (“NOA”) from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (“ONGC”) for charter hiring of a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Vessel ("FPSO") for the Cluster-7 field in India.

BP FPSO PSVM Achieves First Oil; a significant milestone for MODEC
MODEC announced today that the BP Angola Business group has started full scale hydrocarbon production on FPSO PSVM within its fields in Block 31 offshore Angola. Dana becomes operator of Triton FPSO
Today, (Monday 1 October 2012), Dana Petroleum (E&P) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dana Petroleum plc (Dana) takes over the operatorship of the Triton floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) from Hess and Dana acquires Hess’ 28.28% stake in the Bittern field, increasing Dana’s share in the field to 33%.
