PetroChina and INEOS announce plans for new trading and refining JV in Europe
PetroChina, through its wholly-owned subsidiary PetroChina International Company Limited, has entered into a framework agreement with INEOS to form a partnership in new trading and refining joint ventures related to the refining operations in Grangemouth (Scotland) and Lavéra (France).

Petroplus Provides Update On Strategic Review Of The Reichstett Refinery
Petroplus Holdings AG (SIX: PPHN) today announced an update on the strategic review of its Reichstett refinery in France that was launched in April to evaluate alternatives for the site. The company has considered several possibilities, including a potential sale, further investments to improve its competitiveness, as well as a shutdown of refining operations and conversion to a terminal.

Petroplus Comments On Operatıons Of The Reıchstett And Cressıer Refınerıes
Petroplus Holdings AG (SIX: PPHN) today announced that it has started a safe partial shut down of its Reichstett refinery due to strike actions taken by workers at the refinery. The remaining units are planned to be safely shut down at the beginning of next week. The restart of the refinery is dependent on the outcome of the strikes. Petroplus further announced that a meeting with the Works Council at the Reichstett facility to discuss the evolution of the site is scheduled on October 21, 2010. The Company will provide further updates after the meeting via press release.
