Galp Energia enters into a farm-in agreement for offshore Morocco
Galp Energia announces its has entered into a farm-in agreement with the Australian company, Tangiers Petroleum Limited (Tangiers), for the acquisition of a 50% stake in the Tarfaya Offshore area, comprising eight exploration permits, known as Tarfaya Offshore I to VIII, located on the Atlantic Margin, offshore Morocco. Upon completion of the agreement, Galp Energia will be the operator of the Tarfaya Offshore area, a role that until now has been fulfilled by Tangiers. The Tarfaya Offshore area is predominantly in water depths of less than 200 metres and covering an area of 11,281 square kilometres.

ENH and Galp Energia sign cooperation agreement
The National Oil and Gas Company of Mozambique, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos, EP (ENH), and Galp Energia signed a technical, operational and financial cooperation agreement with focus on their respective stakes in the Rovuma basin, offshore Mozambique.

New data about Carcará discovery
Galp Energia, partner of the consortium for the exploration of block BM-S-8, informs about the new data obtained during the drilling of the well 4-SPS-86B (4-BRSA-971-SPS), which is testing the Carcará prospect, located in the ultra-deep waters of the pre-salt Santos basin. The Carcará discovery had been preliminarily announced on March 2012.

Galp Energia, partner of the consortium for Area 4 in Rovuma basin, offshore Mozambique, announces a new giant natural gas discovery in the eastern part of Area 4, at the Mamba North East 2 exploration prospect. This is the fifth exploration well successfully drilled in the area.

Award of contracts for the pre-salt FPSO
Galp Energia informs that, together with its partners and through its Tupi BV affiliate, has approved the signature of ten contracts, totaling US$4.5 billion, for the construction of the first six topside modules and integration packages of the eight Replicant FPSO (floating, production, storage and offloading unit) which are being constructed in Brazil for the pre-salt projects in blocks BM-S-9 and BM-S-11 in Santos Basin.

Galp Energia enters into a farm-in agreement with Porto Energy
Galp Energia announces today that it has entered into a definitive farm-in agreement with Porto Energy, through its wholly owned subsidiary Mohave Oil and Gas Corporation, according to which Galp Energia will acquire a 50% participating interest, in exchange for payment of Porto Energy’s sunk costs, in the Aljubarrota-3 concession, totalling approximately US$4.3 million.

This well is located in ultra-deep waters of pre-salt Santos basin, 232 km off the coast of São Paulo state.

Well confirms discovery extension in pre-salt of Santos Basin
Galp Energia, partner of the consortium for the exploration of block BM-S-11, informs it has completed the drilling of the extension exploratory well 3-BRSA-1032-RJS (3-RJS-697), informally known as Iara Oeste, located in the Iara Evaluation Area, in the pre-salt of Santos Basin. The well is 223 km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro, some 9 km from the discovery well, at a water depth of 2,150 meters.

Eni Agrees To Sell 5% Of Galp Energia To Amorim Energia And Exits Shareholders Agreement
Eni S.p.A. ("Eni") signed agreements today with Amorim Energia B.V. ("Amorim Energia") and Caixa Geral de Depósitos, S.A. ("CGD"), according to which it will sell 5% of Galp Energia SGPS, S.A. ("Galp Energia") to Amorim Energia and, following the sale, will cease to be bound by the shareholders agreement currently in place between the three companies.
