Omsk Refinery Ups Euro-4 and Euro-5 Gasoline Twentyfold in the First Nine Months of 2012
Omsk Refinery has refined 15.78 million tons of crude for the first nine months of 2012, which is 2.4% higher versus last year. The output of high-octane gasoline has grown by 11%, up to 3.08 million tons. Jet fuel production went up by 7.4%, up to 1.26 million tons. Marine fuels have seen almost a 70% growth, up to 2.3 million tons.

Oil Production Starts at the Junin-6 Block in Venezuela
The first oil production has started at the Junin-6 block in the Orinoco River basin in Venezuela. The giant Junin-6 oil field, which has geological reserves of over 50 billion barrels of oil, will be developed on a parity basis by a consortium of five major Russian oil companies: Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and TNK-BP through OOO National Oil Consortium (NOC).

The Moscow Refinery completes construction of its closed cycle mechanical treatment facilities and modernization of bitumen plan
The Moscow refinery has started set-up and commissioning operations on the new closed cycle mechanical treatment facilities and on the bitumen plant. The Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin paid a working visit to the new facilities.

Production Well Tested First Oil at Novoportovskoe Field
At Novoportovskoe oil-gas-condensate field, the first production well drilled on well pad No. 2 tested first oil. This directional well, 2,200 meters long, was spud in in May 2012. As of today, work is being done at the field to build a central oil gathering and processing facility (CPF), lay oil gathering lines and build a gas turbine power plant.

Gazprom Neft expands presence in the Republic of Iraq
Gazprom Neft through its subsidiary Gazprom Neft Middle East B.V. has entered new hydrocarbon exploration and production projects in Iraq. The company signed two production sharing contracts (PSC) with the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq. The production sharing contracts cover Garmian and Shakal blocks located in the south of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.

Gazprom Neft Subsidiary Muravlenkovskneft Opens Associated Gas Pipeline from Severo-Yangtinskoye Oil Field
Production company Muravlenkovskneft, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, has completed the construction of a pipeline running from the booster pump station (BPS) at the Severo-Yangtinskoye oil field to the company’s gas collection system, through which associated petroleum gas (APG) will be delivered to Muravlenkovsk Gas Processing Plant. The company hopes that this move will increase the efficiency of APG utilization.

Gazprom Neft selects contractor to test wells at Badra
Gazprom Neft has announced the results of the tender to select a contractor to test and complete eleven wells at theoil field in Badra, Iraq. The contract, worth around US$95 million, was awarded to U.S. oil field service group Halliburton .

Moscow Oil Refinery now produces Euro-4 fuels only
In April Gazprom Neft Moscow Oil Refinery started to produce all types of high-octane gasolines which meet Ecological Class 4 of the Technical Regulations for Motor Fuels. Thus, as of this date, all high-octane gasolines produced by the Moscow Refinery meet this ecological standard, and the switch to Class 4 was made almost three years before the deadline set by the Technical Regulations. Production of Class 4 diesel fuels has been ongoing at the Moscow Refinery since January 1 2011.
