GE Signs Record Contract of Nearly US$1.1 Billion with Petrobras
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) and Brazilian energy company Petrobras have signed the world's largest subsea wellhead production contract, worth nearly US$1.1 billion (R$2.2 billion). This includes the delivery of approximately 380 subsea wellhead systems and installation tools needed in oil well exploration, and more than 75 percent of the parts will be made in Brazil.

PETRONAS Selects GE Technology for the PETRONAS LNG Train 9 Project
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) will supply proven, advanced turbocompression technology for the PETRONAS LNG Train 9 project, which will add 3.6 million tons per annum (mtpa) to the existing 25.7 mtpa production capacity of the PETRONAS LNG Complex in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Train 9 of the PETRONAS LNG Complex will utilize APCI Split MRTM liquefaction process technology. GE Oil & Gas announced its role in the project at the World Gas Conference in Kuala Lumpur.

Angola LNG Plant Ensuring Gas Supply through GE Service Agreement
Angola LNG, operator of one of the world’s most modern LNG and processing facilities in Soyo, Zaire Province in Angola, and GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) have signed a long-term contractual service agreement (CSA) designed to increase overall plant efficiency and provide maximum availability for the key gas compression equipment. GE announced the agreement today at World Gas Conference 2012 in Kuala Lumpur.

GE Subsea Systems to Support North Sea Oil Field Development
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) surface and subsea production equipment, control systems and services have been selected for the Nexen Golden Eagle Area Development project in the United Kingdom’s central North Sea. Contracts with the project operator, Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited, could total more than $170 million over the life of the development, GE reported at the 2012 GE Oil & Gas Annual Meeting being held Jan. 30-31 in Florence.

GE Oil & Gas Wins Over $1 Billion in Contracts for Ichthys LNG Project in Australia
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) has received contracts totaling more than $1 billion to supply a wide range of equipment and services for the Ichthys liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Australia. A joint venture between INPEX (operator) and Total, the Ichthys LNG project includes one of the world’s largest LNG facilities and is based on an estimated 40 years of gas and condensate reserves from the Browse Basin offshore Western Australia.

Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal, Co-Owned By GE EFS begins Supplies on Gulf Coast under Long-Term Contracts
GE Energy Financial Services, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), announced today that its co-owned Gulf LNG regasification and liquefied natural gas storage facility on the Gulf of Mexico has successfully begun operations. GE made the announcement at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi, joined by Gov. Haley Barbour and executives of El Paso Corporation.

GE Technology Selected for World’s Largest Floating LNG Platform
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) has entered into an agreement with Technip to supply two steam turbine-driven compressors for the Shell Prelude Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) project. The facility, which is to be based offshore Australia, will be the largest floating offshore facility in the world. Technip and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) formed a consortium (TSC) which Shell has tasked to engineer, procure, construct and install the Prelude FLNG facility.
