Stone Energy Corporation Provides Update on Parmer Prospect
Stone Energy Corporation (NYSE: SGY) today provided an update on the deep water Parmer prospect located on Green Canyon Block 823. Drilling operations have been completed, and the rig has been released. The well has been logged, and pressure readings and fluid samples have been taken in several Miocene objective sands. The data indicates approximately 240 feet of net condensate-rich gas pay in two gas sands that are full to base, as well as 40 feet of net oil pay in two sands that both encountered oil on water. The partners plan to analyze the data from this well and develop a plan forward. Stone holds a 35% working interest in the project, and Apache Corporation is the operator.

ATP Announces Completion of MC 941 A-2 Telemark Well
ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (NASDAQ: ATPG) today announced the completion of the workover at its Mississippi Canyon (“MC”) Block 941 A-2 well located in the Mirage Field at the Telemark Hub. The well was completed with 3 ½ inch tubing at a measured depth of 17,140 to 17,401 feet to add the Miocene B Sand completion to the wellbore for field development optimization. Initial test flow rates are at 4,000 barrels equivalent per day (Boe/d) of which 90% is oil. The A-2 well will be tied back to the facility immediately and is expected to produce at a rate of 4,000 to 5,000 Boe/d.

Pacific Drilling Announces Five-Year Contract for the Pacific Sharav
Pacific Drilling S.A. (NYSE: PACD) announced today that its ultra-deepwater drillship the Pacific Sharav has been awarded a five-year contract by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. for operations in the United States Gulf of Mexico. Estimated maximum contract revenue, including mobilization and client requested modifications, is expected to be approximately $1,076 million, bringing Pacific Drilling’s total contract backlog as of June 22, 2012, to approximately $3.2 billion.

Stone Energy Corporation Announces Apparent High Bid on 26 Gulf of Mexico Blocks
Stone Energy Corporation (NYSE: SGY) today announced the results of its participation in the Outer Continental Shelf Sale 216/222 held Wednesday, June 20, 2012 by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management ("BOEM") in New Orleans covering available blocks in the central Gulf of Mexico. Stone submitted the apparent high bid ("AHB") on 26 offshore blocks. Stone's share of the lease bonuses for the 26 AHBs totaled approximately $35.8 million. The lease acquisitions are expected to add approximately 148,240 gross acres and 81,519 net acres to Stone's leasehold inventory. The AHBs are subject to a review process by the BOEM before they can be awarded.
