Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG selects Technip for a contract for Project Management Services
Technip has been awarded by TAP a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Services contract, for a project designed to transport gas from the Shah Deniz field to the European market.

Fire at Aspropyrgos Refinery
Today, 8th of May 2015 at 8:20 am, there was incident of ignition in a unit at the Aspropyrgos refinery, during scheduled maintenance by an experienced Greek contractor company. Six injured workers were carried to hospitals in the region. The incident was met directly from the refinery’s firefighting unit and all the relevant safety measures were taken, as provided by the pertinent procedures.

BP, SOCAR, Total and Fluxys join the TAP project
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP) today announced that BP, SOCAR and Total - members of the international consortium developing the giant Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan - have exercised their option to join the Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG.

On September 30, 2011 the international planning company on realization of the project of the oil pipeline “Burgas – Alexandroupolis”, “Trans-Balkan Pipeline B.V.”, submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources of Bulgaria the fourth revised variant of documents on Assessment of impact of the project on the environment and on the social setting (AIESS).

TAP submits INGS application to Greek Energy Regulator (RAE)
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has submitted its application for the construction of an Independent Natural Gas System (INGS) to RAE, the Greek Regulatory Authority for energy. TAP’s Greek section of the pipeline will be approximately 465 km long and will commence at Komotini, where it ties into the national grid system. The pipeline will then cross Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea, coming ashore in southern Italy.

EGL Delivers First LNG Cargo To Greece
For the first time EGL has delivered an LNG (liquefied-natural-gas) cargo to Greece. The cargo was unloaded recently in two discharges at Greece's LNG terminal, located on the island of Revithoussa, west of Athens. EGL's first LNG delivery to the Greek natural gas market is a further step in expanding gas activities in South East Europe.

ICGB AD and Consortium Penspen Ltd - C&M Engineering S.A Sign Greece Bulgaria Interconnector Contract
