Heckmann Corporation Acquires Majority Interest in Appalachian Water Services
Heckmann Corporation (NYSE: HEK), today announced that it has completed the acquisition of a majority interest in Appalachian Water Services, LLC (“AWS”). AWS will operate as an integral part of Heckmann’s fluid management solutions strategy. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Heckmann Corporation Begins Fresh Water Delivery by Pipeline in the Haynesville Shale Area
Heckmann Corporation (NYSE: HEK) today announced that it has begun transporting water through its fresh water pipeline in the Haynesville Shale area. The fresh water, repurposed PVC pipeline will be 40 miles long when fully commissioned, representing the largest fresh water pipeline system in the Haynesville Shale area.
