IndianOil's Paradip Refinery starts crude processing
IndianOil has started the process of commissioning its 15 MMTPA state-of-the-art Paradip Refinery. Crude processing has been started in Atmospheric & Vacuum unit (AVU) on April 26, 2015 and products like LPG, Naphtha, Kerosene, Gas Oil, RCO etc. are coming out of the unit. Some of these products will require further processing in secondary units, which are also gearing up for commissioning. The whole complex is likely to take about 6-8 months time for becoming fully operational in an integrated manner. This was disclosed by Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Director [ Refineries ] of the largest Refiner of the country- IndianOil.

MRPL Completes Phase III expansion and up gradation project
The Phase III expansion and upgrade of the Mangalore Refinery has been completed with the commissioning of the Petro Fluid Catalytic Cracking (PFCC) Unit

MRPL Commissions Delayed Coker Unit
The 3.00 MMTPA Delayed Coker Unit (DCU) , a secondary processing facility of the Phase-III Upgradation and Expansion Project of MRPL (Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd, a subsidiary of ONGC) went onstream today.

Chubu Electric and GAIL agree Memorandum of Understanding in Collaboration Study of Joint LNG Procurement
Chubu Electric Power Company, Inc. (“Chubu Electric”) agreed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with Gas Authority of India Limited (“GAIL”).
Under this MOU, Chubu Electric and GAIL will discuss the possibility of collaboration in joint LNG procurement and operations.

TOYO Awarded LNG Regasification Plant Project in India
Toyo Engineering Corporation (TOYO, President and CEO Katsumoto Ishibashi) has been awarded a regasification plant project by Petronet LNG Ltd, India. The plant is to be constructed at Dahej, located in the State of Gujarat on the west coast of India, to expand the LNG receiving capacity from 10 million tons to 15 million tons per year. Toyo-India will lead EPC work on a turnkey basis, from engineering to construction and commissioning. The plant is scheduled to be completed at the beginning of 2017.

Air Products Wins Bharat Petroleum Supply Contract for Hydrogen and Other Gases
Air Products (NYSE:APD), the leading global hydrogen provider, today announced it has signed a long-term agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) [NSE: BPCL] and will build, own, and operate several new industrial gas production facilities in Kochi, Kerala, India. The new industrial gas complex will provide hydrogen, syngas, nitrogen and oxygen for BPCL’s Kochi Refinery and its proposed petrochemicals complex. The facilities will support India’s largest-ever outsourced hydrogen requirement and will result in Air Products’ first hydrogen production facilities in India. A phased onstream for the products supplied to BPCL’s Kochi Refinery targets late 2015 for the initial supply of gases.
