Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore and Gail sign 20 year LNG supply deal
Gazprom Marketing and Trading Singapore (GM&TS), a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Gazprom Marketing & Trading, has signed a legally binding 20-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with GAIL (India) Limited (GAIL), following the signing of an earlier Basic Framework Agreement (BFA) by the two companies on 18 May 2011.

Kerala wraps up Rs.20,000-crore MoU with BPCL
The Kerala government on Friday wrapped up a MoU with Bharat Petroleum for a slew of petroleum and gas projects totalling an investment to the tune of Rs.20,000 crore. Chief minister Oommen Chandy signed the pact with BPCL chairman RK Singh on the final day of the three-day Emerging Kerala meet. The agreement involves raising the production capacity of Kochi Refineries from the present 9.5 million MT to 15.5 million MT and setting up of a petrochemical complex.

Major Capacity Expansion For Numaligarh Refinery 8955 Crores Earmarked For 12th Plan Period
The 19th Annual General Meeting of shareholders of NRL was held at Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok, Guwahati on Friday, the 7th of September, 2012. A dividend of 10% (`.1.00 per equity share of ` 10.00 each) for the year 2011-12 on the paid up share capital was declared. The Meeting was presided over by Sri R.K.Singh, Chairman and Managing Director Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Chairman, NRL and was attended by Mr. Dipak Chakravarty, Managing Director, NRL and other members of the NRL Board. During the year 2011-12, the refinery processed highest ever quantity of crude oil of 2825 TMT against 2250 TMT in the previous year, achieving an increase of 25.6 %. Total sales volume of NRL grew by 27.7% to 2728 TMT compared to 2137 TMT in the previous year.

Toyo Engineering-India wins contract from Petronet LNG Ltd
Toyo Engineering-India has secured an EPC-LSTK contract for ’Topside Facility for Standby Jetty’ from Petronet LNG Ltd. This Project includes Engineering, Procurement & Construction on Lump sum Turnkey basis. The completion schedule is in year 2013.

Toyo Engineering-India was associated with Petronet LNG Ltd in past for their Phase I & Phase II projects and pleased to re-associate through this assignment.

GAIL and GDF SUEZ sign LNG Supply Agreement
GAIL (India) Limited and GDF SUEZ have concluded a medium term LNG agreement for the supply of 12 cargoes by GDF SUEZ from 2013 to 2014, representing a total of 0.8 million tons.

EIL bags Integrated Refinery Expansion Project of BPCL, Kochi
Engineers India Ltd. (EIL) has secured Consultancy Services Contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) for Integrated Refinery Expansion Project (IREP), Kochi at a fee of Rs. 720 crores. The project involves enhancing crude oil refining capacity of the refinery from the present level of 9.5 MMPTA to 15.5 MMPTA.

Technip awarded contract for one of the largest ethylene crackers in the world
Technip was awarded by Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) a license, supply of basic engineering package and an engineering and procurement services contract for the Refinery Off-Gas Cracker (ROGC) plant. This contract is part of the expansion project being executed at RIL’s world-scale Jamnagar refining and petrochemical complex in Gujarat, on the West coast of India.

Essar Oil Completes Vadinar Optimisation Project; Capacity Increased To 20MMTPA
Essar Energy plc [LSE: ESSR], the India-focused integrated energy company, today announced that its subsidiary Essar Oil Ltd, India’s second largest private refiner, had completed its Optimisation Project, which has taken the capacity of its Vadinar Refinery in Gujarat to 20 MMTPA, or 405,000 barrels per day. The Optimisation Project has been completed four months ahead of schedule.
