Termination of refining business at the “Kubiki Refinery”, Japan
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) has decided to terminate the refining business at the Kubiki Refinery in mid-December this year. INPEX’s wholly-owned subsidiary Teiseki Topping Plant Co., Ltd. (TTP) has been engaged in the refining business at the Kubiki
Refinery located in Ogata-ku, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture since 1963. We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the communities and the customers in the region for their continued business and support for nearly a half-century long.

Technip awarded important offshore contract for the Ichthys LNG Project in Australia
Technip has been awarded by INPEX CORPORATION an important offshore commissioning contract, worth approximately €210 million, for the Ichthys LNG Project located in the Browse Basin, Western Australia.

Angola: Total to sell an interest in Block 14 to INPEX
Total today announced that it has agreed to sell to INPEX CORPORATION a 9.99% indirect interest in offshore Angola Block 14. The transaction remains subject to the approval of Angolan authorities.

Australia: Total increases its stake in Ichthys to 30%
Total today announced that it has acquired an additional 6% interest in the Ichthys liquefied natural gas (LNG) project from its partner INPEX. Total’s overall equity stake in the Ichthys LNG project grows from 24% to 30%.

Technip awarded contract for Ichthys FPSO unit
Technip was awarded a services contract for the Ichthys floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) unit. The FPSO unit will be located in the Browse Basin, Western Australia, at a water depth of 250 meters. Technip will provide these services to Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME).

Van Oord wins Ichthys dredging contract in Darwin, Australia
Van Oord has been awarded a significant dredging contract in Darwin Harbour, Northern Territory, Australia. This contract forms part of the Ichthys LNG Project, a joint venture between INPEX (operator) and TOTAL.

INPEX awarded Onshore Exploration Block 10 in the 4th Petroleum Licensing Round, Iraq
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) is pleased to announce today that INPEX was successful in the fourth Petroleum Licensing Round in Iraq, and won the onshore Exploration Block 10 jointly with LUKOIL Overseas Holding Ltd. (LUKOIL Overseas), a subsidiary of LUKOIL, a Russian oil company. INPEX will further negotiate with the Iraq Government the terms for the petroleum contract for the Block 10.

Transfer of the Ichthys LNG Project equity interest to Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc.
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) is pleased to announce today that INPEX Ichthys Pty Ltd
and other project group companies have reached an agreement with Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. (Chubu Electric) to transfer a 0.735% of the Ichthys LNG Project equity interest.

Wood Group Mustang awarded topsides engineering for world’s largest semi-submersible production facility
Wood Group Mustang has been awarded the topsides detailed engineering and procurement support for the semi-submersible central processing facility (CPF) in the Ichthys field development. The contract was awarded by Samsung Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., the EPC contractor for the CPF. The project, located off the northwest coast of Australia, in 250 meters of water, will be operated by INPEX.

Technip awarded flexible supply contract for Ichthys field development in Australia
Technip was awarded by INPEX CORPORATION a flexible pipe supply lump sum contract for the Ichthys gas field, in Australia. INPEX has novated this contract to McDermott as part of the overall subsea umbilical, riser, flowline EPCI contract. The Ichthys LNG project is a Joint Venture between INPEX (76%, the Operator) and Total (24%).
