Technip awarded flexible supply contract for Ichthys field development in Australia
Technip was awarded by INPEX CORPORATION a flexible pipe supply lump sum contract for the Ichthys gas field, in Australia. INPEX has novated this contract to McDermott as part of the overall subsea umbilical, riser, flowline EPCI contract. The Ichthys LNG project is a Joint Venture between INPEX (76%, the Operator) and Total (24%).

MCO Receives Order for 9 Compressors For Ichthys LNG Project in Australia
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), has received an order for nine compressors and seven motors to drive compressors for the Ichthys LNG Project. The equipment on order, which gives MCO a key role in the first large-scale LNG development project led by a Japanese company, will be sequentially delivered beginning in August 2013.

John Holland, in a 50:50 joint venture with Macmahon Holdings Ltd, has been awarded a $340 million site development civil works contract by the JKC Joint Venture (JGC Corporation, KBR, Chiyoda Corporation) for the onshore facilities of the Ichthys LNG Project near Darwin in the Northern Territory.

KBR and Its Joint Venture Partners (JKC JV) Sign Contract for EPC Activities for Ichthys LNG Project, Australia
KBR (NYSE:KBR) announced today that its joint venture with JGC Corporation and Chiyoda Corporation, the JKC JV, has signed the formal contract for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities on the Ichthys LNG Project in Northern Australia. The JKC JV partners signed this EPC contract, valued at US$15 billion, with the Ichthys LNG Project owners, INPEX and Total.

GE Oil & Gas Wins Over $1 Billion in Contracts for Ichthys LNG Project in Australia
GE Oil & Gas (NYSE: GE) has received contracts totaling more than $1 billion to supply a wide range of equipment and services for the Ichthys liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Australia. A joint venture between INPEX (operator) and Total, the Ichthys LNG project includes one of the world’s largest LNG facilities and is based on an estimated 40 years of gas and condensate reserves from the Browse Basin offshore Western Australia.

McDermott Awarded INPEX Ichthys Subsea Contract
McDermott International, Inc. (NYSE:MDR) (“McDermott”) announced today that its Australian subsidiary has received and signed a letter of award for the Ichthys Gas-condensate Field Development subsea umbilical, riser, flowline (“SURF”) project by INPEX. The contract value is in the order of magnitude of US$2 billion and is the largest subsea contract McDermott has been awarded to date.

Ichthys LNG Project Achieves FID and JGC/KBR/Chiyoda Joint Venture (JKC JV) Executes Letter of Award for Initial EPC Activities
KBR (NYSE:KBR), JGC Corporation (JGC) and Chiyoda Corporation (Chiyoda) jointly announced that INPEX CORPORATION and Total S.A. (the Ichthys Owners) have notified the joint venture formed by JGC, KBR and Chiyoda, the JKC JV, that the Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Ichthys LNG project has been achieved. As part of this notification, the Ichthys Owners have issued a notification of award to the JKC JV for the engineering, procurement and construction for Ichthys LNG Project. The Ichthys Owners and the JKC JV have executed a formal letter of award for the initial engineering, procurement and construction activities for the project. The completion and execution of the formal EPC Contract is expected in the coming weeks.

Transfer of the Ichthys LNG project equity interest to Toho Gas Co., Ltd.
