Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore and KOGAS sign mid-term LNG agreement
Gazprom Marketing & Trading Singapore (GM&T Singapore), a wholly owned subsidiary of Gazprom, has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), South Korea’s largest natural gas company. Under the agreement, GM&T Singapore will supply up to eight cargoes of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) per annum to KOGAS in 2013 and 2014, totalling up to 1 million tonnes over the two years. The supply will come from GM&T’s diversified portfolio.

Total Signs a Commercial Agreement with Kogas for LNG
Total announces that its gas trading affiliate Total Gas & Power Limited has signed an agreement with South Korean national company Kogas (Korea Gas Corporation) for the purchase of 0.7 million metric tons per year of LNG from the Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana for a duration of twenty years.

GDF SUEZ and KOGAS conclude a second LNG sale agreement
GDF SUEZ has signed a second medium term agreement with Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), the South Korean public natural gas company. Under this new agreement, GDF SUEZ will supply KOGAS with 24 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (about 1.6 million tons) from 2013 to 2014. LNG volumes will be sourced from GDF SUEZ’ LNG portfolio.

Global energy firms announce LNG Canada
Shell Canada Limited, Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS), Mitsubishi Corporation, and PetroChina Company Limited today announced they are jointly developing a proposed liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility near Kitimat, British Columbia. The LNG Canada project (www.LNGCanada.ca - opens in new window) brings together the four companies’ extensive development experience, technical depth, financial strength and access to markets required to be the leading LNG developer in Canada. LNG Canada would connect the abundant supply of Canadian natural gas to growing markets around the world. This also begins the formal consultation process with First Nations and local community residents regarding the project.

Mozambique Area 4 potential enhanced further with Mamba North East-1 results
Galp Energia, partner of the consortium for Area 4 in Rovuma basin, offshore Mozambique, announces a new giant natural gas discovery at the Mamba North East-1 exploration prospect. The results of this well, drilled in the Eastern part of Area 4, are of special importance since they increase the resource base of the reservoirs inside Area 4 by at least 10 trillion cubic feet (tcf), of which 8 tcf contained in reservoirs exclusively located in Area 4.

RasGas signs new LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement with KOGAS
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) announced today that Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) (RL 3) has entered into a new Long Term Liquefied Natural Gas Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with South Korean state-owned energy company Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS). The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry for the State of Qatar, and Chairman of RasGas and RL 3, and Mr Park Young Sung, KOGAS Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Cheniere and KOGAS Sign 20-Year LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement
Cheniere Energy Partners, L.P. ("Cheniere Partners") (NYSE Amex: CQP) announced today that its subsidiary, Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC ("Sabine Liquefaction"), has entered into a liquefied natural gas ("LNG") sale and purchase agreement ("SPA") with Korea Gas Corporation ("KOGAS") under which KOGAS has agreed to purchase approximately 3.5 million tonnes per annum ("mtpa") of LNG upon the commencement of train three operations.
