(“Bear Head LNG”) an updated and amended Permit to Construct, making the project the first in Eastern Canada to be granted such authorization. Excelerate Energy’s Aguirre Offshore GasPort Project Receives EIS from FERC
Excelerate Energy (“Excelerate”), in cooperation with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (“PREPA”), has received the final Environmental Impact Statement (“EIS”) from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) for its Aguirre Offshore GasPort Project (“Project”) located offshore Puerto Rico. The EIS assesses the environmental impacts of the liquefied natural gas (“LNG”) terminal proposed by Excelerate and determines if the Project is suitable for construction and operation.

Jacobs Secures Sustaining Capital Works Agreement for Australia Pacific LNG Facility

WorleyParsons signs contract for proposed Sarita Bay LNG Project
WorleyParsons has signed a contract with Steelhead LNG in connection with the proposed Sarita Bay LNG Project on Vancouver Island, Canada. The proposed project is a 24 (million tonnes per annum) land-based facility being developed jointly by Steelhead LNG and Huu-ay-aht First Nations.

Alaska LNG Project Draft Resource Reports Filed with FERC
A series of draft environmental and socioeconomic reports for the Alaska LNG Project has been submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), which is responsible for conducting the environmental review of the project. These reports, located at www.ferc.gov, also launch the pre-file public engagement process and provide preliminary baseline data about the project area and its potential impacts.

ABB wins contract worth more than $50 million for one of the world’s first floating LNG facilities
ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won a contract worth more than $50 million to supply the electrical system for one of the world’s first commercial floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facilities, and the second to be owned by Malaysian oil and gas company PETRONAS. It will be called “PFLNG2”.
The contract was awarded in the fourth quarter of 2014 by Japanese engineering contractor JGC Corporation. JGC is part of a consortium that is building the facility for PETRONAS, along with Samsung Heavy Industries of Korea.
