Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) a leading state owned enterprise and public listed company in natural gas business in Indonesia for the provision of project management consultancy (PMC) services for a new floating LNG receiving terminal (the "Medan Floating LNG Terminal" facility) to be built in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia.

Third Tank for Singapore's LNG Terminal on the Back of Strong LNG Uptake
Singapore’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal on Jurong Island will now have a third 180,000 m3 LNG tank, in addition to the two that are already being built. With this third tank, the terminal will have the capacity to handle 6 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of throughput, up from the initial 3.5 Mtpa. This additional investment in the third tank gives Singapore greater flexibility not just to meet its future gas needs, but also to pursue new business opportunities in the LNG market.

Woodside Increases Equity In Pluto Central Hub Exploration Permit
Woodside advises that it has entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement to acquire a 50%
participating interest in exploration permit WA-404-P, offshore Carnarvon Basin, Western Australia from Hess Exploration (Carnarvon) Pty Ltd. On completion Woodside’s participating interest in WA-404-P will become 100%. The WA-404-P permit contains the Martell, Noblige, Larsen and Larsen Deep gas discoveries, as well as several undrilled prospects which are subject to an ongoing exploration program.

BG Group sanctions Queensland Curtis LNG project
BG Group today announced that it has taken the Final Investment Decision approving implementation of the first phase of the Queensland Curtis Liquefied Natural Gas project (“QCLNG”) following receipt of Australian Federal and State Government environmental approvals. The first phase of QCLNG encompasses the development of a two-train liquefaction plant on Curtis Island near Gladstone in Queensland together with the associated upstream and pipeline facilities. BG Group will progress development and construction of QCLNG with immediate effect.

INPEX signs Heads of Agreement with PT Nusantara Regas
INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced today that INPEX and its partner Total E&P Indonesie, operator of the Mahakam PSC, signed a Heads of Agreement with PT Nusantara Regas pertaining to the supply of 11.75 million tons of Bontang LNG over the period of 2012-2022 to the West Java LNG terminal, the first LNG receiving terminal to be built in Indonesia (Floating Storage Regasification Unit). PT Nusantara Regas is a joint venture between PT. Pertamina (Persero) and PT. PGN (Persero) Tbk. This Heads of Agreement will be followed by an LNG Sale and Purchase Agreement to be executed in 2011 prior to the start-up of deliveries.

Acquisition of the interest in 8 LNG Vessels
Marubeni Corporation (“Marubeni”) has agreed with BW Gas Limited, Bermuda (“BWG”) to acquire 49% interest of 8 LNG carriers (“8 LNGCs”) presently owned by BWG under long-term time charter to Nigeria LNG Limited (“NLNG”). Marubeni’s acquisition cost is about US$ 700 million (equivalent to JPY about 60 billion). This is Marubeni’s first participation in owning LNG vessels.

Cooperation Framework Agreement on LNG Project Signed Between Kunlun Energy and CNPC Transport
On 11 September, the signing ceremony for the cooperation framework agreement on the Liquefied Natural Gas (hereinafter referred to as “LNG”) project between Hebei Huagang Gas Company Limited (河北华港燃气有限公司), of which Kunlun Energy Company Limited is the holding company, and CNPC Transportation Company Limited was held in Beijing Taoran Hotel in the afternoon, for the cooperation in respect of transportation protection of LNG products for Jiangsu Rudong LNG project.
