Lundin Norway AS, operator of production licence 609, is in the process of concluding the drilling of wildcat well 7220/11-1, which proved both oil and gas.

New contract secured for Maersk Guardian
Maersk Drilling has signed a contract with Premier Oil Norge AS for the jack-up Maersk Guardian for a one well drilling operation, the Myrhauk exploration well, in the Norwegian North Sea. The duration of the contract is approximately 62 days. The contract will commence in direct continuation of the present Lundin Norway AS contract during Q3 2014.

Lundin Petroleum Increases Ownership In The Brynhild Field Offshore Norway
Lundin Petroleum AB (Lundin Petroleum), through its wholly owned subsidiary Lundin Norway AS (Lundin Norway), is pleased to announce the completion of the agreement with Talisman Energy Norge (Talisman Norge) to acquire a 20 percent interest in the Brynhild field, offshore Norway. Following the acquisition, Lundin Petroleum holds a 90 percent interest in the Brynhild field.

Minor oil discovery northwest of the Snøhvit field in the Barents Sea
Lundin Norway AS, operator of production licence 490, has completed the drilling of wildcat well 7120/6-3 S. The well was drilled about 10 kilometres northwest of the Snøhvit field.
The objective of the well was to prove petroleum in reservoir rocks from the Early Cretaceous and Late Jurassic Ages (the Kolmule, Knurr and Hekkingen formation).

Lundin, operator of production licence 501, is about to complete drilling of appraisal wells 16/2-13 S and 16/2-13 A in the North Sea.
Oil discovery 16/2-6 Johan Sverdrup was proven in autumn 2010 in Upper Jurassic reservoir rocks. Wells 16/2-13 S and 16/2-13 A were drilled about 2.5. kilometres northeast of the discovery well 16/2-6 and 6.5 kilometres southeast of appraisal well 16/2-10 in production licence 265.
