Maersk Drilling secures two year contract in Cameroon
Maersk Drilling expands its activities in West Africa with the signing of a contract for the jack-up Maersk Endurer with Addax Petroleum owned by Sinopec, which is one of the largest oil and gas producers in the world. The contract duration is two years and the value is around USD 100 million. Expected commencement is late October 2012.

Noble Energy Completes The Sale Of Dumbarton And Lochranza In The North Sea
Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NBL) announced today that it has closed the previously announced sale of the Dumbarton and Lochranza properties in the North Sea to Maersk Oil North Sea Limited (OMX: MAERSKB). Proceeds from the transaction were $117 million and included final closing adjustments from the effective date of January 1, 2012.

Maersk Oil to drill HPHT exploration well in Denmark

Noble Energy Announces The Sale Of North Sea Assets
Noble Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NBL) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Maersk Oil North Sea Limited (OMX: MAERSKB) for the sale of certain assets located in the North Sea of the UK. The sale includes the Company's thirty percent non-operated working interest in the Dumbarton and Lochranza properties, which produced approximately 4,400 barrels of oil equivalent (Boe) per day, net to Noble Energy, in the first quarter of 2012. At the end of 2011, net proved reserves at Dumbarton and Lochranza were 5.6 million Boe.

Baker Hughes to Bring State-of-the-Art Fracturing, Stimulation Vessel to North Sea in 2013

BP Successfully Completes Deepwater Appraisal Well off Brazil
BP today announced that a Notification of Discovery for the Itaipu-2 pre-salt appraisal well, located in block BM-C-32 in the deepwater sector of the Campos Basin, has been lodged with the Brazilian National Petroleum Agency (ANP). The well, approximately 130km offshore Brazil, was drilled to a total depth of 4,877 metres in 1,420 metres water depth. Itaipu-2 delineates the discovery made in 2009-10 in Itaipu-1 some 7km to the northwest.
