Maersk Oil to buy Brazilian assets for USD 2.4 bln
The fully owned subsidiary of A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S, Mærsk Olie og Gas A/S ("Maersk Oil"), has agreed with SK Energy Co., Ltd. to acquire SK do Brasil Ltda. for USD 2.4 billion on a cash and debt-free basis. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions, including governmental approval and will not affect the 2010 financial result of A. P. Møller – Mærsk A/S.

Petrofac Awarded £40 Million North Sea Engineering Services Contract by Maersk Oil
Petrofac, the international oil & gas facilities service provider, has been awarded a contract worth £40 million over three years for the provision of engineering services to the UK Continental Shelf assets of Maersk Oil North Sea UK Ltd (Maersk Oil). Work will begin immediately on the contract, which was awarded following a competitive tender and includes three one-year options for extension.

AMEC awarded FEED for Maersk’s Curlew FPSO
AMEC,the international engineering and project management company, has been appointed by Maersk FPSOs to carry out the front-end engineering design (FEED) for modifications to the Curlew floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) in the central North Sea.
