Fire at Gas Receiver Center on Reynosa-Monterrey highway
Today at 10:45 am showed a fire in the receiving of Gas and Condensates of Pemex Exploration and Production located at kilometer 19 of the Reynosa-Monterrey highway. In this installation the gas comes from the region of Burgos and the product is delivered to Pemex Gas and Basic Petrochemicals.

Pemex chooses Bechtel for refinery technology

Geophysical & Geotechnical contract awards Mexico
Fugro (Mexico) in conjunction with long-time associates, Constructora Subacuatica Diavaz, S.A. de C.V., has been awarded a large offshore multi-site high resolution geophysical and geotechnical survey by Mexico's national oil company PEMEX. Overall value of the contracts is estimated to be approximately EUR 50 million. Activity is scheduled to start late September 2012 and will continue through to August 2013.

Fire is extinguished in a vent line of Madero Refinery
Is extinguished fire in a vent line of Madero Refinery Today, at 15:30 pm, a fire was raised in the vent line from the battery plant to head hydrodesulphurizer general venting Madero Refinery. The fire was completely extinguished at 16:30. Unfortunately there were four injured workers who are being treated at the Regional Hospital in Ciudad Madero Pemex: Faustino Reyna Lara, 46 years old, whose health condition is reported as serious , Pedro de Leon Martinez, 42 years old, Angel Perez Hernandez, 38 years old and Sergio Lara Alberto Reyna, 41 years old. Petrofac and Schlumberger Selected Bidder by PEMEX
Following the announcement by Petróleos Mexicanos (‘PEMEX’), Petrofac confirms that, together with its partner Schlumberger, it has been declared the selected bidder on the Pánuco integrated production service contract in Mexico. The contract, which runs for 30 years, is expected to be signed in late August 2012 and field operations are expected to start around the beginning of 2013.
