ICA Fluor to Construct Pemex Offshore Production Platform in Gulf of Mexico
ICA Fluor, the industrial construction joint venture of Empresas ICA, S.A. B de C.V. (BMV and NYSE: ICA) and Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR), announced the signing of a contract with Pemex Exploration and Production for the construction of an offshore production platform for the Ku-Maloob-Zaap field in the Gulf of Mexico with a total contract value of $95 million. Fluor’s share of the contract, $47.5 million, will be booked in the second quarter.

McDermott Awarded Pemex Drilling Platform in Bay of Campeche
McDermott International, Inc. (NYSE: MDR) (“McDermott”) announced today that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a contract for the new Ayatsil-B drilling platform for PEMEX Exploracion y Produccion in the Bay of Campeche Ayatsil field. The value of this award will be included in McDermott's second quarter 2012 backlog.

Keppel AmFELS secures repeat jackup order from Mexico worth US$205 million
Keppel AmFELS LLC, a US wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), has won a contract from Mexico's Perforadora Central SA de CV (Perforadora Central) to build a repeat jackup rig worth US$205 million.

Oil production in February Up 25 thousand barrels per day
During the month of February, Pemex increased production by 25 thousand barrels of crude oil per day from the level obtained in January, from two million 518,000 to two million 543 thousand barrels per day.

PEMEX assures greater certainty to prospective oil resources in deep water
As a result of exploratory activity in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico in the last five years, Pemex was identified contingent resources of 283 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) and incorporate 3P reserves of 822 at MMboe, which allowed to obtain a discovery cost of 4.7 dollars per barrel of oil equivalent, the lowest in the history of Pemex.

Cal Dive Awarded 2nd Pemex Contract for 2012
Cal Dive International, Inc. (NYSE:DVR) announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Pemex Exploración y Producción for the installation of a 20 inch subsea pipeline located in the Abkatun Pol Chuc Field in 73 meters of water. The contract is expected to generate total revenue of approximately $46 million and will utilize two of the Company’s key assets. The offshore construction is expected to commence in the second quarter 2012.

TransCanada Awarded Contract to Build US$500 Million Natural Gas Pipeline Extension in Mexico
TransCanada Corporation (TSX, NYSE: TRP) (TransCanada) today announced that it will build, own and operate the Tamazunchale Pipeline Extension in Mexico. Construction of the pipeline is supported by the award of a 25-year natural gas transportation service contract by the Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Mexico's state-owned power company.

PEMEX confirms the existence of oil off the coast of Veracruz

Pemex oil production stable in 2011 with 2 million 550 000 barrels per day
For the second consecutive year, PEMEX successfully stabilized crude oil production at 2 million 550 000 barrels per day. With this result, PEMEX changed the downward trend observed between 2007 and 2009, when there was a cumulative total fall 475 000 barrels per day.
