Approval of the Akri-Bijeel Field Development Plan

MOL Plc has awarded Axens a contract for the revamping of its mild hydrocracking unit
The Hungarian company MOL Plc. has selected Axens to perform the revamping of its DMHCK unit (FCC feed hydrotreater and mild hydrocracking) of the Danube Refinery in Százhalombatta, Hungary. This revamping project consists in increasing VGO conversion and Diesel yield.

Start of gas production on the Izabela field in the Adriatic Sea

MOL extends its upstream portfolio in the Central North Sea
MOL Plc. hereby informs the capital market participants that in line with the company’s active portfolio development strategy, MOL has executed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Premier Oil UK Limited (“Premier”) to acquire shareholding interest in Central North Sea offshore assets in 6 licences. The portfolio includes non-operated equity stakes in the Scott (21.84% unitised Working Interest (“WI”)), Rochelle (15% unitised WI) and Telford (1.59% unitised WI) fields, as well as participating interest in further exploration licences such as the Rochelle Upper Jurassic deep prospect.

Significant oil discovery in Ghauri Block, Pakistan
MOL Plc. is pleased to announce that Ghauri Joint Venture (GJV) has made a significant oil discovery in Ghauri X-1 well, located in district Jhelum, Punjab Province in Pakistan. GJV comprises Mari Petroleum Company with 35% working interest as operator as well as Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and MOL with 35% and 30% working interests, respectively. The Ghauri well discovery is a landmark achievement being the first hydrocarbon discovery in the Eastern part of Potwar Plateau.

MOL Plc. hereby informs the capital markets participants that as of today MOL signed a set of agreements with eni relating to the acquisition of three eni subsidiaries including primarily their 208 Agip branded service stations and wholesale activities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania. MOL has also signed an agreement to purchase eni’s stake in Ceska Rafinerska, which is however has to be offered first to Unipetrol based on its pre-emption right.

Bechtel's ThruPlus® Coking Technology Selected for Croatian Refinery
Bechtel has signed a license agreement with INA Industrija Nafte, d.d. for the process design of a delayed coking unit complex at the Rijeka refinery in Urinj, Croatia. The new complex will use Bechtel’s ThruPlus® coking technology, a proprietary process for upgrading heavy oil into high-value, light hydrocarbon liquids.
