Anadarko Announces Major Success Offshore Mozambique
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced the successful Barquentine-3 appraisal well encountered more than 662 net feet (202 meters) of natural gas pay in two high-quality Oligocene-aged fan systems, significantly expanding the estimated recoverable resource range to 15 to 30+ trillion cubic feet (Tcf) of natural gas, with an estimated 30 to 50+ Tcf of natural gas in place. Eni increases the Mamba South gas discovery in Mozambique by 50%

Anadarko Announces New Exploration and Appraisal Success Offshore Mozambique
Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced the cumulative results of its exploration and appraisal success offshore Mozambique have substantially increased the resource potential in the Offshore Area 1 of the deepwater Rovuma Basin. Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC) today announced that its Barquentine-2 appraisal well, located in Mozambique's Offshore Area 1 of the Rovuma Basin, encountered more than 230 net feet (70 meters) of natural gas pay in high-quality Oligocene-age reservoirs.
