Calumet Completes Acquisition of Superior, Wisconsin Refinery Assets from Murphy Oil
Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. ("Calumet") (NASDAQ: CLMT) announced today that it completed the previously announced acquisition (the "Superior Acquisition") of the Superior, Wisconsin refinery and associated operating assets and inventories (the "Superior Assets") of Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE: MUR) on September 30, 2011 for aggregate consideration of approximately $442 million, subject to customary post-closing purchase price adjustments. The Superior Assets provide greater scale, geographic diversity and development potential to Calumet's refining business, as Calumet's current total refining throughput capacity will increase by 50% to 135,000 barrels per day.

Aker Solutions wins subsea contract in Malaysia
Aker Solutions has secured a contract with Murphy Sabah Oil Co., Ltd. to deliver a subsea production system for the Kikeh subsea expansion project off the coast of Sabah in East Malaysia. Contract value is undisclosed.

Calumet Specialty Products Partners, Announces Agreement to Acquire Superior, Wisconsin Refinery Assets from Murphy Oil Corp
Calumet Specialty Products Partners, L.P. (the "Partnership" or "Calumet") (NASDAQ: CLMT) announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Superior, Wisconsin refinery and associated operating assets and inventories (the "Superior Assets") of Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE: MUR) for total consideration of approximately $475 million, subject to customary purchase price adjustments (the "Superior Acquisition"). Closing of the transaction is expected to close by the end of the third quarter, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approval.

Seadrill secures a new contract in Malaysia and orders new tender rig
Seadrill has been awarded an 18 month contract by Murphy Sabah Oil Co Ltd for the semi tender rig West Menang to operate on the Kikeh Spar deepwater field in Malaysia. Estimated contract value is approximately US$100 million (including mobilization and modification of approximately US$14 million), and the commencement is scheduled for later this quarter.

Murphy Oil USA to Pay $1.25 Million Penalty to Resolve Clean Air Act Violations
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the U.S. Justice Department announced that Murphy Oil USA has agreed to pay a $1.25 million civil penalty to resolve violations of the Clean Air Act at its petroleum refineries in Meraux, La. and Superior, Wis. As part of the settlement, the company will spend more than $142 million to install new and upgraded pollution reduction equipment at the refineries and also spend an additional $1.5 million on a supplemental environmental project.
