Eni signs Production Sharing Contracts for the exploration of two blocks offshore Myanmar
Eni, following its participation in the competitive International Bid Round launched by the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, signed two Production Sharing Contracts (PSC) for offshore blocks MD-02 and MD-04. The contracts were signed in Nay Pyi Taw, in the presence of the country’s Energy Minister. The Joint Venture is between Eni, the Operator with an 80% participating interest through Eni Myanmar B.V, and Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation Limited (20%).

Myanmar Section of the Myanmar-China Oil Pipeline starts trial operation
On January 30, the Myanmar section of the Myanmar-China Oil Pipeline jointly invested and built by CNPC and Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) was put into trial operation, and the Port of Maday Island was officially opened.

Statoil awarded exploration acreage offshore Myanmar
Together with partner ConocoPhillips, Statoil has been awarded a deep-water exploration block in the Myanmar waters of Bay of Bengal.
Block AD-10 cover more than 9,000 square kilometres, and is located 200 km from the coast in water depths of approximately 2,000 metres. The license has been awarded to Statoil and ConocoPhillips, each with a 50% equity share and with Statoil as the operator.

PTTEP hosts Zawtika Processing and Living Quarters Platform (ZPQ) Sail Away Ceremony
Recently, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, or PTTEP, held a sail away ceremony for Zawtika Processing and Living Quarters Platform (ZPQ) at the SMOE Yard in Singapore. ZPQ will next head for the Zawtika field to produce and supply natural gas to Myanmar and Thailand. The ceremony was jointly presided by H.E. U Zay Yar Aung, Minister of Energy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, H.E. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Singapore, and Mr. Norkun Sitthiphong, Chairman of the Board of Director of PTTEP. Honorable guests were welcomed by Mr. Tevin Vongvanich, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTTEP, and other executives from all parties.

RH Petrogas Signs A Seismic Option In Respect Of The Production Sharing Contract For Block M-1, Offshore Myanmar
The Board of Directors of RH Petrogas Limited (the “Company”) refers to its announcement (SGXNet Announcement No 116) made on 6 December 2012 in relation to the change of basis of measurement for the purposes of Chapter 9 of the Listing Manual from Net Tangible Asset Value to Net Asset Value. The Board wishes to announce that the Company had on 11 December 2012 executed a farm-in option agreement (“Seismic Option Agreement”) with Rimbunan Petrogas Limited (“RPL”) pursuant to which RPL has granted the Company a seismic option (the “Seismic Option”), to farm-in and acquire 50% of RPL’s participating interest in the Production Sharing Contract for Block M-1 located offshore Myanmar (the “PSC”) (“Proposed Acquisition”).

Farm-In Offer Accepted For Offshore Myanmar PSC
Woodside advises that Daewoo International Corporation has accepted an offer by Woodside to farm-in to the Production Sharing Contract for Block AD-7 in the Rakhine Basin, located in the western offshore area of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Myanmar: Total Acquires a 40% Interest in Offshore Block M-11
Total announces the signature of an agreement with PTTEP for the acquisition of a 40% interest in the Production Sharing Contract covering the offshore Block M-11 in Martaban basin. PTTEP (PTT Exploration and Production Plc.), Thailand's national company, will retain the operatorship. The block covers an area of 5,373 km², with a water depth of 200 to 2,300 meters. The current exploration phase contemplates a well to be drilled by Q3 2013.

Yves-Louis Darricarrère, Total’s Upstream President, commented on the signature: “With this acquisition, Total will bring its well recognized deep offshore expertise and its world-wide proven technology to contribute to exploration activities in Myanmar and potentially develop the country’s hydrocarbon resources. By doing so, Total will continue to support the country’s economic opening and growth. PTTEP is our historical partner in this region and in Myanmar where we have been cooperating successfully on the Yadana project.”

This transaction will need to be approved by Union of Myanmar Authorities.

PTTEP signed the PSC for 2 more exploration blocks in Myanmar
PTTEP today signed the Production Sharing Contract for 2 more onshore exploration blocks in Myanmar. With this success, it will thus help expanding PTTEP investment base as per its strategic plan and strengthening Thailand and Myanmar energy supply in the future. H.E. Mr. Arak Chonlathanont (นายอารักษ์ ชลธาร์นนท์), Minister of Energy of Thailand and H.E. U Than Htay, Minister of Energy of Myanmar also witnessed the signing.
