New $220 Million Kinder Morgan-Valero Pipeline Will Expand Fuel Supply to Southeast United States
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE: KMP) today announced it will build and operate a new 136-mile, 16-inch pipeline to transport gasoline, jet fuel and diesel from refineries in Norco, La., to an existing petroleum transportation hub in Collins, Miss., owned by Plantation Pipe Line Company. (Kinder Morgan owns 51 percent of Plantation Pipe Line Company and operates the system.) From this hub the refined petroleum products will be transported by pipeline systems, including Plantation, that serve major markets in the southeastern United States.

Enbridge Announces $1.2 Billion Twinning of Southern Section of Athabasca Pipeline
Enbridge Inc. (TSX:ENB) (NYSE:ENB) announced today that it will twin the southern section of its Athabasca Pipeline from Kirby Lake, Alberta to the Hardisty, Alberta crude oil hub at an estimated cost of approximately $1.2 billion. The twin line will initially add approximately 450,000 barrels per day (bpd) of capacity between these points, with low cost expansion potential to 800,000 bpd. The line is expected to be capable of accepting initial volumes by early 2015, with its full initial capacity available by 2016.

Petrofac Selected Bidder on Mexico Contracts
Following the announcement by Petróleos Mexicanos (‘PEMEX’) earlier today, Petrofac confirms that it has been declared the selected bidder on two integrated services contracts to develop the Magallanes and Santuario blocks (‘the blocks’) in Tabasco State, central Mexico. The contracts, which run for 25 years, will be signed on 18 October 2011 and Petrofac will take responsibility for field operations after an initial three month transition period.

Aker Solutions wins Hebron GBS project
Kiewit-Aker Contractors, a 50/50 joint venture between Peter Kiewit Infrastructure and Aker Solutions, has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil Canada Properties (EMCP) for the Hebron Project gravity based structure (GBS). The contract is for Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) and site preparation, with the option at ExxonMobil's discretion to subsequently provide detailed engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services. The contract value for Aker Solutions' share of the FEED and site preparation is USD 70 million.
