CB&I Announces Heater Award in Oman
CB&I (NYSE:CBI) announced today it has been awarded a contract valued in excess of $50 million by Daelim-Petrofac JV for the design and supply of delayed coking, hydrocracking, crude and vacuum heaters and a steam reformer for the Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Company LLC (Orpic) project located in Sohar, Oman.

Sohar - Under the patronage of H.E. Petrofac awarded Khazzan CPF project in Sultanate of Oman
Petrofac, the international oil and gas services provider, has been awarded a contract by BP, worth approximately US$1.2 billion, for the central processing facility (CPF) for the Khazzan gas project in the Sultanate. This has been awarded on a convertible lump sum basis and will convert to a full lump sum contract at a pre-determined point during execution.

Jacobs Awarded Contract by BP Supporting Development of Khazzan Gas Project
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it was awarded a contract by BP for process and infrastructure work on the greenfield Khazzan project in the Sultanate of Oman.

US$2.1 Billion Refinery Improvement Project in Oman
Petrofac, the international oil and gas services provider, in a 50/50 joint venture with Korean based Daelim Industrial Co Ltd (Daelim) has been awarded a 36 month Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract by Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC). The contract value is US$2.1 billion.

DNO International Reports New Offshore Well Tests 7,000 Barrels per Day
DNO International ASA ("DNO International"), the Norwegian oil and gas company, announced today that the just completed West Bukha-4 well, Block 8 offshore the Sultanate of Oman, flowed on a 54/64 inch choke 7,000 barrels of 39º API oil and 15 million cubic feet of gas per day through a test separator. West Bukha-4 will be connected to the export pipeline system within days and, at the initial test rates, is expected to nearly double current oil production from the West Bukha field to 15,000 barrels per day.

PTTEP ready to add up production of Oman 44 Project
Mr. Tevin Vongvanich (นายเทวินทร์ วงศ์วานิช), President and CEO of PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited or PTTEP disclosed that PTTEP Oman Company Limited, a subsidiary of PTTEP, is ready to add up crude oil production which will boost the Oman 44 Project’s overall production of crude oil and condensate to 5,000 barrels per day (BPD) in October 2012.

MJV Company Established to build new Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Complex
Oman Oil Company (OOC) and International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi, have announced the formation of a joint venture company to own and manage the development of the planned refinery and petrochemical complex in Duqm. The company, Duqm Refinery and Petrochemical Industries LLC is owned 50/ 50 by OOC and IPIC.

Willbros Selected to Continue Providing Maintenance for Oman LNG
Willbros Group, Inc. (NYSE: WG) announced today that a unit of its Upstream segment, The Oman Construction Company, L.L.C. (TOCO), has been selected to provide general maintenance services for the Oman LNG Qalhat site complex in Sur, Oman. The five year contract includes an option for three additional years and includes mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, scaffolding, insulation and painting services. Oman LNG currently operates a three train plant, with a nameplate capacity of 10.4 million metric tonnes per annum (mtpa).

Honeywell UOP/Foster Wheeler Technology Selected for Oman Refinery Expansion
Foster Wheeler AG (NASDAQ: FWLT) announced today that its Global Engineering and Construction Group, through a collaborative agreement with Honeywell's UOP, was recently awarded a contract by Oman Refineries and Petrochemicals Co. (Orpic). UOP/Foster Wheeler will provide a basic engineering design package for a solvent deasphalting (SDA) unit at the Sohar Refinery in Oman.
