Punj Lloyd bags Offshore pipeline project worth Rs.469 crores (USD 97.3 million) from ONGC
Punj Lloyd Group, a leading engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) conglomerate, today announced receiving an offshore project in Bombay High, Mumbai from ONGC. The project, worth Rs. 469 crores (USD 97.3 million), is scheduled for commissioning in May, 2013.

ONGC Videsh Limited signs a tripartite agreement with Kazmunaigaz, Kazakhstan
ONGC Videsh Limited signed a tripartite agreement with the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan and Kazmunaigaz, the national oil company of Kazakhstan amending a E&P Contract, to give effect to OVL’s 25% participating interest in the Satpayev Block in the oil rich north Caspian Sea of Kazakhstan. The potential oil resources jointly estimated for this block is 1.8 billion barrels. Oil is expected to flow by 2020. The Agreement was signed by Mr Joeman Thomas, Director (Exploration), OVL and Mr Sauat Mynbayev, Minister of Oil and Gas of Kazakhstan, Mr Bolat Akchulakov, President of Kaznmunaigaz in the presence of Shri R P N Singh, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas at the Ministry of Oil and Gas in Astana on 12th October, 2011.

SBX - Awarded $40 million OBN survey by ONGC of India for Mumbai High Field
SeaBird Exploration PLC ("SeaBird" or "SBX") is very pleased to announce through its wholly owned subsidiary SeaBird Exploration FZ LLC the receipt of a Notification of Award (NOA) from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd of India (ONGC) for a 4C-3D Seismic API Pilot Project in Mumbai High Field. This is an official notification that SBX has been awarded Tender No Y16KC10017 and consequently the Hugin Explorer and Munin Explorer will mobilize from the Norwegian North Sea immediately following the conclusion of the current ExxonMobil contract expected to be around 10th September 2011.

ONGC Awards Baker Hughes Deepwater Drilling, Evaluation Contact
Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) of India has awarded Baker Hughes (NYSE: BHI) a five-year contract to provide drilling and evaluation services and to manage third-party services for the Platinum Explorer drillship.
