InterOil Provides Triceratops-2 Drilling Update and Extends LNG Project Agreements
InterOil Corporation (NYSE:IOC) (POMSoX:IOC) (“InterOil” or the "Company") announced that the Triceratops-2 well in Papua New Guinea was drilled from the 9 5/8 casing shoe at 4,111 feet (1,253 meters) to current total depth (TD) of 5,971 feet (1,820 meters). The top marl transition zone was encountered at 3,976 feet (1,212 meters) and the top of the carbonate reservoir at 4,482 feet (1,366 meters).

Talisman Energy and Mitsubishi Announce Strategic Joint Venture in Papua New Guinea
Talisman Energy Inc and Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) have reached agreement on MC’s entry into nine of Talisman’s licenses in Papua New Guinea’s onshore Western Province, via a farmout from Talisman effective January 1, 2012, subject to approvals by Government and joint venture partners. The deal is valued at approximately US$280mm and will be paid in the form of a capital carry. Following the farmout, Talisman and MC licensed equity positions will average 40% and 20% respectively in these nine licenses.

PNG LNG project update
Santos has been advised by Exxon Mobil, operator of the PNG LNG project, that due to the stronger Australian dollar the estimated capital cost of the project has increased by US$0.7 billion to US$15.7 billion. Santos’ 13.5% share of the increased capital cost is approximately US$100 million.

Pacific LNG And ENN Sign Heads of Agreement on LNG Sale
Pacific LNG Operations Ltd. (“Pacific LNG”) and InterOil Corporation (NYSE:IOC) (“InterOil”) announced the signing of a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with ENN Energy Trading Company Ltd. (“ENN”), for the supply of one to one and one half, million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Gulf LNG Project in Papua New Guinea.

InterOil And Gunvor Sign Heads Of Agreement For LNG Supply
InterOil Corporation (NYSE:IOC) (“InterOil”) and Pacific LNG Operations Ltd. (“Pacific LNG”) announced the signing of a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Gunvor Singapore Pte. Ltd., for the supply of one million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Gulf LNG Project in Papua New Guinea. The signing occurred in Port Moresby and was witnessed and supported by Prime Minister Peter O’Neill, the Gulf Governor Havila Kavo, and other cabinet Ministers.

Eaglewood Energy Announces Sale of Its Interest in PPL 260 to Exxon Mobil Subsidiary
Eaglewood Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EWD) ("Eaglewood") is pleased to announce that it has executed an agreement to sell 20% of its 30% equity interest in PPL 260 in the PNG highlands to Esso PNG Exploration Limited ("Esso"), a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation. Eaglewood has also granted an option to Esso for the sale of its remaining 10% interest subject to certain conditions.

Marubeni Corporation (hereinafter "Marubeni") has acquired 21% shares of Merlin Petroleum Company (hereinafter “Merlin”), more than 99% shares of Merlin had been held by JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corporation (hereinafter “JX”) through its subsidiary. Merlin holds oil and gas interests in Papua New Guinea (hereinafter “PNG”) including interests in the country's first LNG project named the PNGLNG Project utilizing the gas to be produced from the fields in which Merlin participates and other oil and gas fields in PNG.

InterOil To Seek Internationally Recognised LNG Operating And Equity Partner For Papua New Guinea Project - 30th September, 2011
InterOil Corporation (NYSE: IOC) (POMSoX: IOC) today announced that the Company has retained Morgan Stanley & Co. Clough AMEC awarded Oil Search Kumul Marine Terminal Contract
Engineering and construction company Clough (ASX:CLO) today announced that Clough AMEC, an incorporated 50/50% joint venture between Clough and AMEC, has been awarded a cost reimbursable contract valued at approximately AU$25m, to provide construction management and execution services for the rejuvenation of Oil Search Limited’s Kumul Marine Terminal. The terminal is located approximately 40 kilometres off the southern coast of PNG and exports crude oil via tanker offloading facilities.

InterOil Exploring Potential Partnership With Energy World Corp
InterOil Corporation (NYSE: IOC) (POMSoX: IOC) today announced that InterOil and Pacific LNG Operations Ltd., have signed a non-binding memorandum with Energy World Corporation Ltd. (AX: EWC), which has a permit to construct an LNG Hub Terminal and a 300MW combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant located on Pagbilao Grande Island, Philippines, to negotiate taking an ownership interest and establish an associated downstream gas sale, purchase, transmission and distribution services company.
