Foster Wheeler Receives EPCm Award for El Palito Refinery Expansion in Venezuela
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq: FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Engineering and Construction Group has been awarded a contract by PDVSA Petróleo S.A. for the engineering, procurement services and construction management (EPCm) for the El Palito Refinery Expansion Project in Venezuela. Foster Wheeler will execute the project in consortium with Toyo Engineering Corporation from Japan and Y & V Ingeniería y Construcción from Venezuela.

TNK-BP / PDVSA JV In Venezuela Reaches Oil Production Target Of 130,000 Barrels Per Day

Advance negotiations to build Nanhai refinery
Was successfully held on 3rd. CSB Deploys to Investigate Release of Hydrofluoric Acid at CITGO Refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas
A seven-person investigation team from the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) is deploying to the site of an accident reportedly involving the release of hydrofluoric acid (HF) at the CITGO Corpus Christi, Texas alkylation unit.

The team will be headed by Donald Holmstrom, director of the CSB’s Western Regional Office in Denver, and is expected to arrive tonight and begin work Wednesday.
