Farm-out Agreement with Sinochem for Exploration Blocks offshore Brazil

Perenco celebrates 10 years of success in Congo

New UK Leman well successfull
Perenco UK is pleased to announce that the Leman 53/02a-14Z well, drilled as an appraisal well 8 km to the South West of Leman 27H platform, has been successfully perforated and cleaned up on Nov 20th, producing at a controlled rate of 24 MMcfd.

Perenco Spuds First Exploration Well in Brazil
Perenco Petróleo e Gás do Brasil Ltda (Perenco Brazil) announce the commencement of their first drilling operations in Brazil with the spudding of the Moriche-1 exploration well on 6th November 2011. The well is located at a water depth of 1148 m in the BM-ES-37 Concession in the Espírito Santo Basin. The well is being drilled with the Ocean Star semi-submersible rig, which is operated by Brasdril Perfurações Ltda. The operations are expected to last approximately two months, after which the rig will be mobilised to the BM-ES-38 Concession to drill the Guarapari prospect, which is also in the Espirito Santo Basin.

DRC 2011 offshore drilling campaign launched with Libwa 12

BP Agrees Sale of Wytch Farm to Perenco UK Limited
BP announced today that it has agreed to sell its interests in the Wytch Farm, Wareham, Beacon and Kimmeridge fields to Perenco UK Ltd ('Perenco') for up to $610m in cash. The price includes $55m contingent on Perenco's future development of the Beacon field and on oil prices in 2011-13.

Perenco Offshore Drilling Campaign in Gabon
Perenco is pleased to announced that the drilling campaign in Gabon has resumed with the spudding this week of the Arfan-1 Exploration Well. The well is on the Falcon North Field of the Arouwe permit and is in open water 72 meters deep.

Total agrees to sell to Perenco its exploration and production interest in Cameroon
Total announces having finalized an agreement in principle with Perenco, an independent exploration and production French company, to sell its 75.8% equity in its upstream affiliate Total E&P Cameroun, a Cameroonian company which other shareholders include the national oil company – SNH (Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures – 20%) and Paris Orléans – Groupe Rotchshild (4.2%). This agreement is subject to the Cameroonian Authorities’ approval.
