Tipiel(1) S.A., Technip’s subsidiary in Colombia, was awarded by the Consorcio Constructor Ductos del Sur(2), a front-end engineering design and detailed engineering design contract, on a lumpsum basis. This covers the development of a new gas pipeline to transport gas from the Camisea field to Southern Peru.

Enterprise Offering Additional Capacity on Aegis Ethane Pipeline System
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) today announced the start of a supplemental binding open commitment period to determine shipper demand for incremental capacity being added on the Aegis pipeline between Mont Belvieu, Texas and the Napoleonville, Louisiana area along the Mississippi River corridor. The 270-mile Aegis pipeline system is designed to transport purity ethane from Enterprise’s Mont Belvieu, Texas liquids storage complex to petrochemical facilities in Texas and Louisiana.

TransCanada Alters Québec Scope of Energy East Pipeline Project
TransCanada Corporation (TSX:TRP) (NYSE:TRP) (TransCanada) today announced it is altering the scope of the Energy East pipeline project in Québec as part of its continued commitment to stakeholder consultation, environmental stewardship and community safety. Part of that altered scope includes the decision not to build a marine and associated tank terminals at Cacouna, Québec. Potential alternative terminal options in Québec are being reviewed. Québec and New Brunswick refineries would continue to be connected directly to Energy East.

Polarled pipe-laying
On 26 March, the Solitaire pipe-laying vessel started on the first stage of the Polarled installation project. The 482-kilometre long pipeline will transport gas from the Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian Sea to Nyhamna in western Norway.

Fluor Wins Major Contract for Natural Gas Transmission Project
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that it was awarded a contract by NEXUS Gas Transmission, LLC, to provide engineering, procurement and construction management services for an approximately 250-mile natural gas transmission pipeline in Ohio and Michigan that is capable of transporting 2 billion cubic-feet-per-day of gas. Fluor booked the contract for an undisclosed value in the first quarter of 2015.

The NEB imposes additional obligations for Enbridge’s Line 9, approves two conditions
The National Energy Board (NEB) has approved two of Enbridge’s condition filings with regard to the Line 9B Reversal and Line 9 Capacity Expansion Project (Line 9) while imposing additional obligations for the lifecycle of the project.
