Qatar signs new LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement with CPC Corporation Taiwan
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) announced today that Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) (RL 3) has entered into a new long -term liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Taiwan state - owned energy company CPC Corporation, Taiwan (CPC). The agreement was signed by His Excellency Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada, Minister of Energy and Industry for the State of Qatar, and Chairman of RasGas and RL 3, and Mr Shao-Hua Chu, Chairman of CPC.

RasGas delivers first Q-Flex cargo to Turkey
RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) announced today that it successfully delivered a spot sale liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo to EgeGaz at the Aliaga Terminal in Turkey. The cargo was delivered aboard RasGas’ long-term chartered Q-Flex vessel the Al Utouriya. While deliveries of LNG from RasGas to EgeGaz began in 2009, this latest shipment is the first cargo ever delivered to EgeGaz using a Q-Flex vessel.

Emir of Qatar inaugurates Pearl GTL Project
His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, The Emir of Qatar today officially inaugurated the Pearl Gas to Liquids (GTL) Project, the largest GTL plant in the world and the largest energy project in the state of Qatar. Visiting dignitaries including HRH Prince Andrew, The Duke of York, toured the facility and were briefed on the state-of-the-art technologies used to convert natural gas resources from Qatar’s North Field into high quality liquid fuels and products that will be sold at premium all over the world.

Fluor Venture in Qatar Wins Five-Year Comprehensive Maintenance Contract for RasGas
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today in a public ceremony that Qatar National Facilities Services (QNFS), a Qatari-based company partly owned by Fluor, signed a five-year comprehensive maintenance services contract with RasGas Company Limited (RasGas) in the industrial city of Ras Laffan, Qatar. Following a competitive tendering process, the new contract was awarded to provide maintenance services for the entire complex. Fluor booked the undisclosed contract value into backlog in the third quarter of 2011.

RasGas and EDF Trading Announce New LNG Supply Agreement
RasGas Company Limited further underlined its position as the world's liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplier of choice this week when its affiliates Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (II) and Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Limited (3) signed a long-term LNG supply agreement with EDF Trading, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF S.A.

Alfa Laval wins SEK 90 million natural gas order in the Middle East
Alfa Laval – a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling – has received an order from a Japanese engineering company to supply heat exchangers for a new major natural gas project in Qatar. The order value is approximately SEK 90 million and delivery is scheduled for 2012.

Qatargas And Petronas Sign Heads Of Agreement For Long-Term LNG Supply To Malaysia
Qatargas achieved another milestone today, as it announces the signing of a Heads of Agreement (HOA) to supply Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to PETRONAS LNG Ltd; (formerly known as ASEAN LNG Trading Company), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), the national oil and gas company of Malaysia, at a ceremony held in Doha, Qatar.
