Rosneft agreed to sell 8.99% interest in Saras S.p.A.
Rosneft JV Projects S.A. (Luxembourg), an indirect subsidiary of Rosneft Oil Company, has agreed to sell to institutional investors 85,481,816 ordinary shares in Saras S.p.A., representing approximately 8.99% of the total share capital in Saras S.p.A., at a price of EUR 1.90 per share, through an accelerated bookbuilt offering (the Offering). The share sale was closed at a premium of over 38% to the initial purchase price and is an example of efficient portfolio management and optimization program of Rosneft.

Technip awarded contract to supply hydrogen reformers for PETRONAS’ RAPID project in Malaysia
Technip has been awarded by Tecnicas Reunidas a significant(1) contract to supply three hydrogen reformers as part of the hydrogen production facility at PETRONAS’ Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) project located in the state of Johor, Malaysia.

Axens’ VGO HDS technology selected by Total for its Donges Refinery, France
Axens VGO HDS technology has been selected by Total for a new vacuum gasoil (VGO) hydro desulfurization unit at the Donges refinery (France). The unit is designed to process around 40,000 BPD (barrels per day) and will allow Total producing low sulfur fuels meeting the evolution of EU specifications.

Fluor Awarded Kuwait’s Al-Zour Contracts
Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that its joint venture team was selected by Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) as the preferred bidder for two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) packages. Facilities in the two packages will include a variety of key process units, utilities and infrastructure for the new Al-Zour oil refinery project in Kuwait that is expected to produce 615,000 barrels-per-day. Fluor booked its $2.6 billion portion of the contract in the third quarter of 2015.

First paraxylene produced at Atyrau Refinery
Official ceremony of producing the first batch of a new product – paraxylene at the Aromatics Production Complex has taken place at the Atyrau Refinery as part of celebrating the 70th anniversary of the facility.
It was attended by representatives of the RoK’s Ministry of Energy, “Samruk-Kazyna” SWF JSC, JSC NC “KazMunayGas”, JSC “KazMunayGas – Refining and Marketing” and others.

Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI) And Gunvor Group (Gunvor) Confirm Negotiations For The Sale Of The KP Europoort Refinery
Kuwait Petroleum International and Gunvor Group have announced today that their respective affiliates have reached the final stage of negotiations on the sale of the KP Europoort refinery in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, subject to regulatory approval and the necessary employee consultation process. The sale would allow the refinery to continue in line with Gunvor’s integration and optimization strategies.

ExxonMobil to Sell Torrance Refinery to PBF Energy
ExxonMobil has reached an agreement with PBF Energy, Inc. for the sale and purchase of its refinery in Torrance, California, a lubricants distribution center at Vernon, products terminals at Vernon and Atwood, and associated California pipelines and other logistics assets, including facilities at the Southwest terminal.

Northern Tier Announces Unplanned Maintenance on the Saint Paul Park Refinery No. 2 Crude Unit
Northern Tier Energy LP (NYSE:NTI) ("Northern Tier") today announced that the St. Paul Park refinery will be taking the No. 2 Crude Unit down for unplanned maintenance. As a result of this unplanned maintenance, Northern Tier expects crude oil throughput for the third quarter 2015 will average between 86,000 and 90,000 barrels per day.

Wood Group provides engineering services for Flint Hills Resources refinery upgrade
Wood Group is providing detailed engineering, procurement and other services to Flint Hills Resources Corpus Christi, LLC (FHR) for its Eagle Ford modification project at its refinery in South Texas. The project will enable the refinery to process 100 per cent US crude, primarily from the Eagle Ford shale region, into transportation fuels.

Amec Foster Wheeler awarded Vietnam’s Dung Quat refinery contract supporting its $1.8 billion expansion plan
Amec Foster Wheeler announces today the award of a Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contract by Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Ltd (BSR), a subsidiary of state-owned Vietnam National Oil & Gas Group (PetroVietnam), for their Dung Quat oil refinery in Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam. The contract is part of the US$1.8 billion expansion and upgrading plan which is planned to increase the plant’s annual processing capacity by 30 per cent.
