Cumulative production at Vankor reaches 15 million tons
Today Rosneft produced the 15-millionth ton of oil since the beginning of operation on Vankor field. The Vankor oil and gas field is located in the north of Krasnoyarsk Territory. Commercial oil production began in August 2009. 117 producing wells on 14 well pads deliver current daily production of 36,000 tons (more than 263,000 barrels per day). In the first 10 months of 2010 the Vankor field produced 11 mln tons of oil. The annual production plan for the year is 12.7 mln. tons, that’s 200,000 tons over planned volumes.

Facilities currently operating at the field include a booster pump station with preliminary water separation unit, as well as a diesel fuel production facility with capacity of 50 thousand tons a year to supply the company’s own needs.

Rosneft Started Oil Deliveries to ESPO Pipeline to China

Rosneft to Acquire 50% of Ruhr Oel GmbH
Rosneft today agreed with Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. (“PDVSA”) to acquire PDVSA’s 50% stake in Ruhr Oel GmbH. The agreement was signed in the Kremlin in the presence of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

Gazprom Neft Appointed as Project Leader in Venezuela
Gazprom Neft has been appointed Project Leader for the Junin-6 project in the heavy oil basin of the Orinoco River in Venezuela. The resolution on the appointment was passed by the Board of Directors of OOO National Oil Consortium (NNK) established by five major Russian oil companies Gazprom Neft, LUKOIL, Rosneft, Surgutneftegaz and TNK-BP holding equal stakes in the project.

Foundation laid of the China-Russia joint venture refinery in Tianjin
On September 21, the foundation-laying ceremony of the China-Russia joint venture 13Mt/a refinery was held at Tianjin's Binhai New Area. The State Council vice Premier Wang Qishan and Russia vice Premier Igor Sechin delivered speeches at the ceremony respectively and laid the foundation for the project.
