Rosneft Reserve Replacement Ratio Over 160%, Gas Reserves More Than Double, Hydrocarbon Resources Almost Triple
According to the results of an audit performed by DeGolyer & MacNaughton under the SEC life-of-field classification, Rosneft's proven hydrocarbon reserves as of December 31, 2011 stood at 17,618 million BOE. Of this total, oil reserves stood at 14,286 million barrels (1,960 million tons) and gas reserves at 19,995 billion cubic feet (566 billion cubic metres). These figures put Rosneft's reserve replacement ratio at 162%. The Company's gas reserves have grown 2.3 times compared to the level registered at the end of 2010. This significant increase in gas reserves is due to a review of reserves at the Company's largest gas field, Kharampurskoye.

Rosneft Obtains Five New Blocks in Okhotsk Sea
By order of the government of the Russian Federation Oil Company Rosneft has been granted five blocks on the Sea of Okhotsk shelf for geological surveying, exploration and development. The five blocks are Magadan-1, 2 and 3, Lisyansky and Kashevarovsky.

Rosneft Takes an Important Step in Expanding into the Strategic Market of Venezuela
Rosneft and PDVSA today signed a tentative memorandum of understanding to set up a joint venture to develop heavy crude oil reserves in Venezuela as part of the Carabobo-2 project. Rosneft will hold a 40% stake in the planned joint venture with the remaining 60% to be owned by PDVSA subsidiary CVP.
