State commission on reserves confirmed the fact of discovery of the new arctic oil and gas field Pobeda on the Kara sea shelf. The field was discovered as the result of the drilling of the northernmost well in the world – the Universitetskaya-1 well.

Termination of contracts for 2015 Kara Sea Operations
Siem Offshore has received notices of termination from Karmorneftegaz SARL in respect of the seasonal work in Kara Sea for the year 2015 for the two AHTS vessels “Siem Topaz” and “Siem Amethyst” and for the PSV “Siem Pilot”.

According to the contract, an early termination fee is payable.

Karmorneftegaz SARL (Luxembourg) is the joint venture established between Rosneft (66.67%) and ExxonMobil (33.33%) for the project in the Kara Sea.

Achinsk Refinery Resumes Output of Commercial Motor Fuels
Achinsk Refinery started shipping high octane gasoline and diesel fuel of the quality no lower than environmental class IV of the Technical Regulations. The Company, therefore, resumed output of commercial motor fuels after the accident that happened on 15 June, 2014.

This new kind of fuel will allow significant decreasing of the influence of motor vehicles on the environment in the regions where the fuel is consumed.

Kuibyshev refinery produced first izomerizate product lot on new unit
The first izomerizate product lot has been produced on a new isomerization unit of Kuibyshev refinery. Izomerizate is a component of high-octane gasoline produced in compliance with the highest ecological Euro 5 standard. The octane number of the lot produced is 88.6, which corresponds to the planned project octane number – no less than 88 points. The production of the first on-specification product lot confirms the fact that the rig with rated capacity of 280 thousand tons a year (crude production) had been put into the normal technological mode.

Rosneft started construction of oil pipeline to Komsomolsk refinery
Rosneft has started implementation of the project on building an oil pipeline – offset from the East Siberia–Pacific Ocean trunk pipeline to the Komsomolsk refinery, situated in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
