Motiva Celebrates Completion of Landmark Crude Expansion Project
A ceremony held today at the Motiva Refinery in Port Arthur, Texas, celebrated the completion of a five-year construction project that more than doubled the facility’s daily processing capacity to 600,000 barrels of crude.

SDRL - Seadrill secures new contract for the jack-up rig West Callisto
Seadrill has signed a contract with Saudi Aramco for employment of the jack-up rig West Callisto offshore Saudi Arabia. The contract duration is a minimum of three years plus an option for a one year extension. The potential revenue for the three year period is approximately US$164 million plus a US$20 million mobilization fee to cover various upgrades, dry tow vessel expenses and dayrate in the mobilization period. The West Callisto is currently operating in Southeast Asia and is scheduled to finalize its existing work scope in August 2012. The unit will subsequently commence its transit to the Middle East and is scheduled to start operations for Saudi Aramco in September 2012.

Memorandum of Understanding signed with PT Pertamina

Sartorp to Sell Sukuk to Saudi Investors
The Capital Market Authority (CMA)’s Board has issued its resolution number 2-25-2011 on 14/9/1432H [14/8/2011G] approving the public offering of sukuk certificates (the "Sukuk") by Arabian Aramco Total Services Company ("AATSC"), a company especially established for the purpose of issuing the Sukuk on behalf of SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining and Petrochemical Company ("SATORP"). The total offering size will be determined at a later stage by SATORP.

KBR to Execute Construction for Motiva Port Arthur Refinery Expansion Project
KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced that its subsidiary Roberts & Schaefer (R&S) has been selected to construct a petroleum coker (pet coke) material handling system for Motiva Enterprises LLC's (Motiva) Port Arthur Refinery Expansion Project in Port Arthur, Texas. The contract is part of a larger effort by Motiva to expand the Port Arthur Refinery. The expansion is expected to increase current capacity to 600,000 barrels per day in 2012, making it the largest refinery in the U.S. and one of the top 10 in the world.
