LNG ENERGY Enters Into Agreement to Substantially Increase Polish Shale Gas Acreage Position
LNG Energy Ltd. ("LNG") (TSX Venture - LNG) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Kaynes Capital S.a.r.l. has entered into an agreement to acquire a 50% interest in Joyce Podlasie LLC ("Joyce") and a 50% interest in Maryani Podlasie LLC ("Maryani") from Source Energy Partners LP ("Source") for US$4 million. Joyce indirectly holds an undivided 100% interest in the Ilawa Concession in Poland and Maryani indirectly holds an undivided 100% interest the Wegrow Concession in Poland. The remaining 50% of Joyce and Maryani are both owned by Realm Energy (BVI). Together the Ilawa and Wegrow Concessions comprise approximately 360,000 acres and will increase LNG's net Polish shale gas acreage by approximately 180,000 acres. This acquisition provides LNG one of the larger acreage positions in the Baltic Basin.

Total acquires interests in several licenses in Argentina to appraise their shale gas potential
Total announces that it has acquired interests in four exploration licenses in Argentina in partnership with YPF in order to appraise their shale gas potential. Located in the Neuquén Basin, the licenses were awarded by the provincial authorities for a six-year period. The four new blocks are the latest addition to the Group’s portfolio of assets in Argentina, which includes significant holdings in shale gas play.

Petrohawk Energy Corporation Announces Sale of Fayetteville Shale Interests for $650 Million
Petrohawk Energy Corporation ("Petrohawk" or the "Company") (NYSE: HK) today announced that it has completed the sale of its natural gas assets in the Fayetteville Shale, located primarily in Cleburne and Van Buren Counties, Arkansas, to XTO Energy Inc., a subsidiary of ExxonMobil, for $575 million. The sale has an effective date of October 1, 2010.

FX Energy Signs Letter of Intent to Complete Industry Funding of First Kutno Well
FX Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: FXEN) today announced that it signed a Letter of Intent with Kulczyk Investments S.A., (“Kulczyk Investments”) in connection with the Company’s Kutno project in central Poland. The agreement provides for Kulczyk Investments to join FX Energy and the Polish Oil and Gas Company (“PGNiG”) in drilling the first well to test the Kutno prospect. Talisman Energy Announces Strategic Partnership With Sasol in Montney Shale
Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM) (NYSE:TLM) today announced it has reached agreement to create a strategic partnership with Sasol Limited to develop the Farrell Creek assets in Talisman's Montney shale play in northeastern British Columbia.
