Ukraine – First Successful Fracture Stimulation Yields 2.3 MMcf/d
Kulczyk Oil Ventures Inc. (“Kulczyk Oil”, “KOV” or the “Company”), is pleased to announce the successful completion of the first reservoir stimulation using western hydraulic fracturing technology (“frac’ing”). The frac was undertaken by KUB-Gas LLC (“KUB-Gas”), a partially-owned indirect subsidiary of KOV, on the R30c zone in the Ologovskoye-6 (“O-6”) well. After being frac’d, the O-6 well flowed gas at a rate of 2.3 million cubic feet per day (“MMcf/d”) through an 8mm choke, from a previously non-commercial zone. The O-6 well was originally drilled by KUB-Gas in 2008 to a total depth (“TD”) of 2,530 metres.

Enterprise to Expand Natural Gas Pipeline and Processing Infrastructure in the Eagle Ford Shale
Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE: EPD) today announced several new construction projects that will extend and expand its natural gas and natural gas liquids ("NGL") infrastructure in South Texas to accommodate expected production growth from the Eagle Ford Shale play. As a result of additional demand from our Eagle Ford producing customers, along with the execution of new gathering and processing agreements, Enterprise will build an additional 300 million cubic feet per day ("MMcf/d") train at its Yoakum cryogenic natural gas processing facility in Lavaca County, Texas.

Bnk Petroleum Inc. Lebork S-1 and Indiana Update
BNK Petroleum Inc. (the “Company”) (TSX: BKX), on behalf of Saponis Investments Sp. z o.o, announced today that fracture stimulations were performed on both the Cambrian and Ordovician intervals in the Lebork S-1 well which did not enable an effective test of the two shales. This is due to only a small percentage of the programmed quantities and concentrations of proppant being placed in each shale. Although gas was flared from each interval and 43% and 50% of the stimulation fluid was eventually recovered from the Alum (Cambrian) and Ordovician shales respectively, the small amount of proppant placed in each zone was not enough to provide effective conductivity, allow conclusive production tests, nor provide the assessment of meaningful reservoir parameters. As predicted, the reservoir was over pressured but it took even higher pressures to stimulate the shales than anticipated.

PKN ORLEN drills the first shale gas exploration well
PKN ORLEN has started to drill the first well for shale gas appraisal and exploration purposes in Syczyn (Commune of Wierzbica, Poland). It is the first of the two core holes planned for this year. The decision to drill in Syczyn was made on the basis of the positive results of geological surveys of the area. The wells will be drilled by MND Drilling & Services of the Czech Republic.
