Nabucco shareholders, potential investors, Shah Deniz consortium sign Joint Declaration
On January 10, a ministerial meeting on Nabucco project was held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Representatives of Shah Deniz and Nabucco projects, governments of Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Turkey and Austria, as well as European Investment Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and European Commission participated at the meeting.

New well commissioned on Gunashli field
SOCAR has commissioned the well #306 from the platform #14 on Gunashli field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. It was drilled to Fasila Suite by the order of 28 May Oil and Gas Processing Department.

Two wells commissioned after total overhaul on Oil Rocks field
Oil Rocks field plays an important role in oil and gas industry of the country. New wells are drilled, as well as idling ones are commissioned there after taking necessary technical measures.For instance, Oil Rocks OGPD, operating the field, takes significant steps in this direction.

2.3 mln tons of Azerbaijani oil transported via BTC in September 2012
2 mln 261 thousand 957 tons of Azerbaijani oil was transported via BTC main export pipeline in September 2012.

SOCAR and BP sign Framework Agreement on Technical Services
On October 5, the Department of Geophysics and Geology of SOCAR signed a Framework Agreement on Technical Services with BP. Opening the signing ceremony, SOCAR first Vice-President Academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh said that SOCAR services will be widely used in providing technical services on exploration and evaluation projects where BP is the operator.
The document was signed by chief of the Geology and Geophysics department of SOCAR Vagif Abdullayev and executive manager of Framework Agreement Paul Evans. Academician Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh wished success to the parties in implementation of the agreement.

Crude oil export for September 2012
SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported 159 thousand 600 tons of crude oil from the Novorossiysk Port, 322 thousand 980 tons of crude oil from the Supsa Port, and 1 million 654 thousand 929 tons of crude oil from the Ceyhan Port in September 2012. In general,

Absheron Drilling Works Office of Complex Drilling Works Trust has started drilling the well # 1647 on Amirkhanly field.

2.3 mln tons of Azerbaijani oil transported via BTC in August 2012
2 mln 367 thousand 326 tons of Azerbaijani oil was transported via BTC main export pipeline in August 2012.
Totally 20 mln 664 thousand 558 tons of oil was transported via this pipeline in the period of January-August 2012. In general, 196 mln 442 thousand 258 tons of oil has been pumped to BTC since the start of pipeline exploitation until September 1, 2012.

Azerbaijan crude oil export
SOCAR Marketing and Economic Operations Department exported 129 thousand 645 tons of crude oil from the Novorossiysk Port, 242 thousand 127 tons of crude oil from the Supsa Port, and 1 million 612 thousand 147 tons of crude oil from the Ceyhan Port in August 2012.

Shah Deniz partners BP, SOCAR and TOTAL commit to funding for TAP
The Trans Adriatic Pipeline announced today that TAP and its existing shareholders EGL, Statoil and E.ON Ruhrgas have reached an agreement with members of the Shah Deniz Consortium to secure funding for the TAP project. These funds will contribute towards continued work in several important areas during the period running up to the final routing decision, expected in 2013.
